I bought a Salvage Telsa Model S P85D with Ludicrous Plus Mode and some major unibody damage from an auction. I thought it was a great deal but the insurance company totaled the car because of it. Most salvage rebuilders would have covered it up but Rich Rebuilds, Samcrac and myself fixed most of the mechanical issues in my garage. In this video, we take the Model S apart and fix everything else including all the damaged aluminum. I also want to make this Tesla my own so it gets an updated body kit, black chrome wheels, and a carbon fiber spoiler!

Paint matching is so hard , that's the reason you hope the adjuster goes with full respray
They say you can't polish a turd. Harley has been polishing turds since 1903! Teslas are still total turds! The impact of ONE electric car on the globe is more than 62X worse than an over the road 18 wheeler! Battery manufacturing and battery waste is far, far worse than diesel exhaust. Buy a Tesla because they are fast and sleek – NOT because they're sudo green!

All that to just fix the roof? I'd have said, "Fuggitaboutit!". Who looks at the roof of a car anyway. Paint it over and call it good. So you've got $25,000 in this just to buy it and add on to that all the costs of the repairs, esp. Mancuso's! and you still will someday probably not have any super-charging capacity? that's alot of dough for a car with an uncertain future. I don't get it.
