Don't use this unless your seat is damaged. If it's just dirty then clean it with the brushes. If you use a cutter put some grease on the end so the metal doesn't fall into the cylinder.

Hello! Is it ok to remove the engine's plastic cover temporary and drive the car without it? Are there any big drawbacks except a little more dust?
and for those reason… the om606 is the best diesel mercedes engine ever, the last and greatest of a great generation. big turbo big mechanical pump end of story everything else is self explanatory big intercooler etc

I have watched all of the CDi videos and certainly remember the “black death“ and whish this project kept going, would have loved to see more indepth the fitting of the fuel pump and the swirl flap delete
The black death puts the shits up me with my OM642. I will be doing my injector seats in the near future.

Interested with your MB experience Alex, which you prefer, Diesel or Gasoline engines?
Because controlling diesel fuel detonation inside the engine is very limited to tune and highly depends on knocking sensor which can save the engine from blowing during tuning process despite of fuel economy.
I am really considering getting a W211 E400 CDI
Pros: Having a fuel efficient V8
Cons: Registration costs $2000/year (Its based on CCs, over 3L is expensive as fuck)
They are 5000EUR in a really really good condition, sit and drive, although i am 100% sure all of theme had there odometers rolled back by few 100 000km
Currently driving a W211 2002 E220CDI bone stock with 480 000km 100% accurate km so i am used to driving really old cars.
I am just worried about the transmissions on these 4L v8s, will it hold up a long run

You probably get thousands of messages, but maybe you will notice this and answer a question I have.
What effect will an upgraded turbo have without a turbo map? I have a 2012 GL350 with a turbo on its way to turbo heaven. Shopping around, I found UK company called venom hybrid turbos that sells upgraded turbo for almost same price as new stock one. I want to get more power down the road and it is perfect time to get upgraded turbo since I have to switch it out anyway, but I don't have 1.5k (local quote) to dyno it at the moment and map upgraded turbo. What would you do? Would you buy upgraded with plan to upgrade other parts and dyno in the next yearish, or is that too risky not to map a turbo right away?
