In today's episode of Sorted, I will be fixing six oil leaks on my 2005 Mercedes C55 AMG. These jobs apply to about a dozen different models spanning about a decade. Basically, if you have an M112 or M113 engine from about 1997 to about 2008 most of these repairs apply. We will tackle valve cover gaskets, breather chambers, oil cooler seals, the oil filter housing seal, a pressure port seal and I go over the dipstick grommet seal.
I'm super excited to announce a totally free way that anyone can support the channel!! I was approved for an Amazon Influencer account which allows YouTubers like myself, and other creators to earn a small commission from sales generated from people first clicking on my Amazon link, and then buying anything from Amazon. This doesn't cost you a penny as Amazon compensates the creators for driving traffic and sales to the site. So even if you don't buy the product or tool that I link in the video description box, you are still supporting the channel by shopping on Amazon after you clicked through any of my links. Each video will have either specific links to things I use or talk about in the video, or you will see my general LegitStreetCars Amazon link like this. https://www.amazon.com/shop/legitstreetcars
Next time you need car parts, tools, diapers, condoms, fidget spinners or anything on Amazon think of good ole Alex from LegitStreetCars.

I used oil eaters for a cleaning solution and so far so good. Only $40 for a 5-gallon drum on Amazon. You only need about 4 gallons as this is a 4:1 water to cleaner ratio and it's a 20-gallon parts washer. Takes 5 minutes to build.

I have a 2012 GLK 350 that started leaking from the Oil Dipstick Tube Seal soon after getting an oil change. If the oil change place used an oil evacuator/evacuator, could they be related? Seems like the grommet kind of pulled out a little bit and won't seal again.
I need an oil change and gaskets replaced. How much would you charge me if I drove out to you from Michigan
very educative. Thank you regards
I love the way it is presented

Do you need to drain the oil when doing the valve covers? (I just changed my oil)
Daily driver : 2002 S430 w200k miles (owned since '05)
Saved me 1500 dollars! Thank you!
Iam planing for e240 or e350 2004 if I get a clean one I’ll take it it’s nice and easy to work in w211 Mercedes
But don’t like sbc faults and coolant mixing with transmission issues
Who daily drives their AMG? Actually who daily drives any Mercedes? List model and miles. Even though my daily is a Chevy Volt I've driven this car about 1000 miles in three weeks because it's just too damn fun.
