Here are some of the coolest and unique modifications I've performed to my 1000 horsepower 2001 Turbo Trans Am LS1. Boost activated cutout, on board air system, Fast and Furious style boost button, launch control and more. Enjoy and comment with any questions. I'd love to help.

Absolutely love your WS.6. It's actually my dream car rn. (For a non antique muscle car) however my best friend inherited an 01 or 02 from his dad last year it had around 36mi. Not garaged but barely driven obviously and always covered. It spent a few good stints sitting. The details are VERY vague but his dad had either the heads I BELIEVE OR the intake and everything that bolts it down etc. Replaced/built because of corrosion. ( NE WEATHER 🤦) I was just wondering if this is a common problem in bad weather areas you've heard of? also what are the chances of it being a LS6block? I've heard the ones modded w. Ls6 blocks are either the block and a SLIGHTLY different cam. Or just the blocks and the heads. Or the heads and cam. I'm just curious. Its is going In the shop for minor body work and he said he usually burns 1-2 full qts. Of oil a month. No smoke, oil doesn't apppear burnt, No head gasket or power issues. He uses good oil it calls for. I heard they went to the ls6 block because of oil circulation issues. Is this true? Also while it's in the shop they're doing a tie rod . I said have them throw in any and all tie rods on the other front side as well as a new or both front wheel bearings. Also his rear lights are leaking. Simplezt DIY advice to fix? It keeps getting filled w. Water shorting the bulbs and fuse. I was gonna say let's Dr them out and use the strongest clear roofing adhesive I know of. U less you know a good place to get oem lens casings and make it easier and look better… Thanks !!!!!!
