Haven't finished the video yet, but curious as to what you use for fuel for something like this when you aren't sure what it takes.That gas tank sure looked like an ethanol type reaction with adhesives. e85?

When you said he was getting an air filter, I thought "and a battery, too?". When you said it's 20 miles to the garage, I thought "go put some gas in it." Why does a schmuck like me think this, but seasoned vets like you don't?
1.6 rockers, upgraded springs, and a cam were part of the LT4 hot cam kit.
There were a lot of problems with fuel tanks in those cars. They have a bladder in the tank that would separate from the shell due to ethanol.
I had sending unit issues that got better with use.
I sold mine due to the opti-spark. There was a guy on eBay that had the early style factory sensors. He would rebuild them better than anyone else out there.

"No receipt" : Strictly speaking, you don't need a receipt. You just need "proof of purchase". There is lots of case law where having the person you bought it with come to the shop with you and attest that you did in fact buy it there, will suffice as evidence of purchase

The rubber hose stack is to support the fuel pressure gauge. It’s on a pretty long connector.
