I've Blown up a few engines in my day. Three in my 1000 horsepower Turbo Trans Am and you could say I've learned a few things. In this video, I share what I've learned about blowing an engine up and how to prevent it. I'll also show you 3 mods I'm doing to my 179,000 miles 1999 Mercedes C43 AMG to get it ready for a lot of nitrous. This video also applies to any modified engine whether it's boosted with a supercharger or Turbo or ran with nitrous or NOS, for all you kids out there.

On my 3.8 super charged fiero I run two step colder NGK plugs as well. And it runs a liquid intercooler. I run a 3.4 pulley for the super charger and a 180 degree thermostat. I get 0 knock and I’m torn between adding a 50 shot of nitrous for hard launches or simply add a smaller pulley for more boosts. I also have a hot wire mod for the fuel pump to allow maximum voltage on full throttle. It’s also good to 500 hp. I have bigger injectors and a northstar throttle body adapter. I’m gonna have to send the pcm out to be reprogrammed.
I have a nitrous kit already on hand and I can’t afford to turbo charge it yet. So in all I’m a cheap bastard. Lol. I seen plenty of cars blow up with nitrous oxide. And I don’t fill like picking up engine pieces.
That fuel pump gonna need new hoses. And I never knew there’s a inline fuel pump is available for fuel injection. It could’ve save me time not to have to drop the fuel tank. As for reading the fuel ratio I use a 2 dual function scan gauge. I look at short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim. But the gauge will read o2 sensors knock sensor ect.
Why not use diesel fuel in off-road engines?
