I just bought a mystery auction car that looks like it was custom built in the '80s for a movie or TV show. The car has hundreds of hours in custom paint and bodywork and was just abandoned at a salvage auction. Immediately after my friend Samcrac informed me of this car, I bid and won it for $1,100. I bought this sight unseen and in this video, we discover the car together. If anyone has any information about this 1985 Pontiac Firebird please email me at legitstreetcars @gmail.com. It was located in New York for the majority of its life, and some say it's based off the Pontiac Banshee concept car from the '80s. Some in the comments say it looks like the Knight Rider 2000. Basically, knight rider part 2.

The Make a Wish Banshee
Look up night rider 2000
Thereโs some kit car history sites that include body kits, too. Check them out and you might find out some info.
That car is freaking cool ๐ love your videos I love how you show us everything and how to fix whatever you are working on technically you make it interesting
It's a home built replica of the Pontiac banshee 80s concept car.
If it is a banshee car where Is all of the buttons on the steering wheel?
Da car is so ugly
I think whoever built it was trying to make a knight rider .
This was made for Knight Rider 2000
Definitely a "banshee conversion" for a 3rd gen trans am by Rob Louisell; I used to visit the guy's website all the time back in the late 90's / early 2000's (when it existed). He was known for selling body parts and electronics to convert 3rd gen Trans Am's into Knight Rider replicas, but he also sold car kits to turn third gen Trans Am's into something resembling the Banshee (as well as 4th gen Trans Am's). Since the car in the tv movie "Knight Rider 2000" was inspired by the Banshee, I guess he felt it was a natural extension of the business.
