If you guys watched the last DeLorean cosmetic restoration video, then this is the one you've been waiting for. This is the episode. We finish everything and I think I have at least 100 hours of Labor into this restoration. thus far and I was going through analytics and we have a couple hundred thousand new viewers on the channel, but only about 40 percent of you are subscribed and that's pretty normal actually because a lot of people don't have YouTube accounts.

So if you do have a YouTube account and if you enjoy and appreciate the content, consider subscribing I'd Really, really appreciate it. So with that, grab yourself a cold beverage, a snack, a four course meal if it's what you need to do and enjoy the show. And first a quick little recap. we should have the guitar music coming on so it's coming right now.

I Bought my 1981 DeLorean for 33 000 looking like this and moving like this. After getting it back to Legit's three quarters and washing it for the first time, it didn't look that bad until Feel Like took it all apart. After disassembling the car, we fixed a crease in the stainless, pulled out some dents, and regrained the entire stainless steel body to make it look like this. I Also fixed a bunch of wiring, tried gasoline to clean the car, looked at a cool twin turbo DeLorean drilled gigantic holes in my roof, blew out a ton of mice, poop from the interior, cleaned and disinfected everything, Restored and repainted many things that you may or may not ever see I Sound proofed the car I Glued in the carpets I reinstalled the seats that I restored, installed new Headliners and much much more so with that.

Let's finish this in a finish him kind of Mortal Kombat way And yes, this is sometimes how I do my voiceovers I Just picked up the wheels from the powder coater. Ah these look so good. Brand new tires and now I'm at O'Hare Auto Body in Bensenville Illinois Let's take a look at the bumpers. Whoa Whoa! this looks so good.

So they match the paint from the old bumpers. They cleaned up a few spots to get a really good match. This is insane guys! This is the place to go if you're in the Chicagoland area and you need paint and body work done. My guys at O'Hare got you covered every single time I Come here! I'm never disappointed.

Their paint match is amazing! Look at this. This is Huge! They were able to get the studs in there for me, pretty much all of these broke. Oh this is gonna look so good. We're back at legit.

Three quarters, just a little bit more van appreciation guys. We have a total of four bumpers of Valence, eight wheels and tires. If we got rid of those bumpers, we still have seating for eight back here and we could put those back here. It's just it's just amazing.

I Love my van and I love these freshly painted bumpers. Oh yeah, we're getting to body work. getting body panels back on. Let's do this before our bumper goes on.

We have to install our restored headlight buckets, but we have an issue because everything's bolted to fiberglass. There was a nutsert in here that went into fiberglass that broke off so it used to look like that. There's absolutely no way to access this. It's a completely sealed tub so we gotta get creative and fix it.
And to do that, we're going to use a nut cert. So I found an M6 nut cert that fits the factory hardware and this is a really cool tool. It's very similar to a rivet gun so we're going to thread that on all the way down. Now we're gonna place this in the hole and just like a rivet gun we're gonna.

we're gonna squeeze. Okay, that should be good and now we can thread this guy out of here. Perfect. Now our Factory stainless bolt will go in like this and this is probably better than Factory since it's biting right into this nice piece of stainless.

We are good. Once again, no one's going to see this button. Let's just knock out this rust Cool. Now we can feed in our headlight wiring like so most of the wiring stays behind the buckets.

We'll hit this area too before the screw goes in and we have this tiny little baby screw. This is so crazy. That is the smallest screw ever. All right that locates it.

Tighten this guy in that we'll tighten this guy. Look at that. So Fresh So Clean So fresh and so clean clean. Hang on, Hang on! Do you guys remember what these headlight buckets looked like? Originally like many parts on the DeLorean they were intact but with some surface rust.

So I took them over to Fluid Motor Union to use their Aqua blast machine. Once you put the part inside, you hit the foot pedal and get a blast of water and media that transforms Parts in an instant I Blasted the rear bumper brace as well and so this is what the bare Parts looked like when I was done after drying. I painted the buckets a natural color to keep their original look but to protect them from rusting again. So now you know why the headlight buckets look so darn good.

Bucket number two: our table of Parts is getting lighter. This is exciting. so if you guys remember on the old bumper, it was a total nightmare to remove the grill. A lot of that had to do with the fact that all of these clips were pretty much broken.

So now with the new bumper, I've installed all new clips and we're ready to go. Hang on before I install the bumper. I Want to see what ceramic coating looks like on stainless because I'm going to coat the entire car later. Well, we're gonna try it right now with our fresh new regrain.

We'll let this sit for 60 seconds and then wipe it off. Of course I'm using the armor Shield nine and when I told Avalon King that I wanted a ceramic coat my entire stainless steel DeLorean they said cool And here's a buy one get one free offer for your viewers. So for a limited time, if you click on my link down below and you buy one of their very complete armor Shield 9 DIY kits, you're gonna get a second one for free. And one of these is good to coat an entire small to medium sized car.
So that includes all of the paint, the glass, the wheels, the trim, everything. But if you have a larger truck or SUV you're gonna need two. and now for a limited time you're gonna get two. You just gotta buy one.

All right, it's been 60 seconds. Swipe it down, you can see right there in the light where we applied it and we're gonna go with the grain here and just buff off the excess is how easy it is to apply ceramic coating. Now if you can wax a car, you can definitely ceramic coat of carts. it's wipe on, wipe off Okay Cool! So I Know this gives normal paint a deep glossy shine but you can kind of see a difference this is coated.

this is not I don't know we're going to find out later, but for all of you with normal paint, the benefits of ceramic coating are huge. It bonds with the clear coat and forms an invisible layer of protection from the elements. and it makes your car hydrophobic, so dirt and water just bead right off. This keeps your car looking cleaner for longer and anyone can coat a car in a couple of hours.

So take advantage of the limited time sale with my link down below. Big moment here! People Big Moment Bumpers going back on. It's going to make it look like a car again. This is a total nightmare to get off so it should be really fun to adjust and align.

Sure it won't take long. Okay, so we need to go over like so now I'm like super freaked out It was so hard to get off but I didn't really care because we were gonna get it painted and repaired. but now I can't mess this up. Don't mess up Alex Don't mess up holes.

It's a good sound. go on. So I have to massage the foam in order to get this to go. There we go.

You guys! remember when I took this out, we have these studs right here that don't actually get a nut on the other end. That's how they are from the factory. They're like locating dowels, but they're just literally use studs. There we go.

John DeLorean used about 20 Fasteners on this front bumper. He didn't want it going anywhere. you know, because of all the speed and horsepower stuff. Once you get one stud in the other side becomes very difficult.

Oh I gotta sacrifice my finger Maybe Almost there. Yes, a story in my life with this: DeLorean It's been like I don't know. hour hour and a half of messing with the front bumper and guess what? it's off because I can't get it to fit properly and it's hitting right in this corner. And if you guys remember, we had those weird experimental brackets that were bolted in the car I think this is getting in the way and we're not going to use this anymore.

So yeah, okay, yeah, there we go. That wasn't doing much anyway and there's another one on this side. I Mean this. This is just so bad.

let's get rid of the rest of this. There we go. Okay, maybe that'll help. I think the stainless Fender is also hitting right in here.
so we're just gonna take away some of this material that's done. and I also elongated the slot over on this corner so we can move this over. Okay, see if that fixed anything at all. Now if you guys remember, the fit and finish is just horrendous on this car.

Just bright, brand new from the factory but I'm trying to make it look a little better around the foam. Get our stood over. Did that fix anything? Still have a horrible Gap here. Hang on.

Get this stud over the headlight buckets. this this I'm okay with. like this is really nice on the passenger side. Okay, we're already much better off.

This isn't bad I mean it's bad. If you guys are used to Modern cars or just non-delorian cars, this is really bad. but this is actually really good for a DeLorean I Can't believe I'm saying that this is yeah and I mean look at the fitment on the passenger side. it's mint 's so funny.

All right I'm gonna get some screws in. Just kidding I had to grind away some more because I didn't like how it fit. You guys have already seen me but this on and off and I've done it a few more times off camera. So okay, this is it.

Seriously top screws going in? Oh and just because everybody at the DeLorean dealer was just using random Hardware I lost the screw to this. So we're using a T30 Torx screw. Yeah, that does a lot. I Ended up getting a used bottom valence piece.

A little dirty, but all the studs are intact at this stage in the game. I'm just using whatever I can find in the shop for cleaning purposes. this will be good. There was one stud that broke, but that's okay.

Before we bolt up the valence, we have to put in this Grill piece. So this is another used part and I painted it so it looks a lot nicer than it did. and this also holds in the bottom of the bumper so there's five bolts that hold in the bottom of the bumper. don't break going nowhere.

These are of course like super easy to line up. It's gonna do that and push that in a little down down a a backspace and you're good. Oh my gosh thread, Who does this? Who does this? Okay, then after you know just like 10 seconds of easily screwing these things in you, just tighten them. Totally didn't take 30 minutes to get these in.

You guys want to see something really dumb that I just did I totally put this Grille on wrong. It's supposed to be flipped. doesn't even come close over here. but in my defense, you'd think this would be the outside where the wire is on the face, but that's that's not the case Now you know because I thought it went the other way I only sprayed one side.

so do this so much better. Nice and shiny. All right. let that dry while we do one of eight million other things.

And you know what, while we wait for that to dry, we're going to do a little bit more painting as well. This is definitely way out of order. I should have done this before I put the interior and the seals in, but I didn't really notice it until we got into the restoration. but I don't I don't like this.
We need to fix it. So I've gone around and masked everything now. I'm just gonna scuff it up and this is a factory matte finish or maybe a light satin finish so it should blend pretty easily and let's go around. give it a scuff with it all scuffed up.

We can go around with some rubbing alcohol and just degrease everything. Get all the dust off. Look at that. Have you guys ever have bed sheets that you don't want? Do Not throw them away.

You could use them to cover up everything on your DeLorean before you spray the trim around the windshield? It's very useful. Want a little crazy taping everything up? Not a huge fan of this big spray pattern here, but see we can do here. Try to make it as even as possible, only this dries and blends in a little bit better. Not liking this? I don't know guys.

I've never used this stuff. It's supposed to blend in pretty nice, but I don't know? All right I'm going to let that kind of dry off for a little bit and we'll see what it looks like. Let me try and blow a little air on here see if it'll speed up. I need a drying.

Definitely helps and the gloss kind of goes away. I did three total coats and I think it's looking really really good. so it kind of Blended in because of this satin finish and uh, it's very forgiving. So yeah.

overall a little nice quick little restoration. Yeah I'm really happy with this. No more faded paint looks good I Was just about to show you guys my new Holley retro bright headlights and we have this cool little green bug that came in the box like I opened it up with this bug in there I don't really know where these shipped out of hang on they shipped out of Bowling Green Kentucky Hey little buddy, you're still alive. You made it watch.

This is some kind of like evasive species that's going to destroy all the crops in Illinois Don't destroy our crops. all right. Anyway, the headlights that I'm putting in the DeLorean are phenomenal. I've wanted to try these for the longest time.

but for all you guys out there with sealed beam headlights from back in the day, you have Led options direct plug-in LED options. So look at this. We got the 5700 Morimoto headlights and I ended up going with the modern white. so these are the three options and I think the modern white is going to look amazing, but let's get these on all right.

Check this out. Direct Plug-in cool and these are DOT approved. They fit in the buckets nicely. it's just the bumper, you know, you know the bumper on Delores And we got these guys literally have to smush the bumper with my finger to try and get this to go past we have to do to get him out.
This is so ridiculous. This car. It's a good thing it's super fast and reliable. otherwise I don't know.

Okay, there we go. All right. Number two going in. these are gonna look so good.

You know we're plugging this battery in here in a couple minutes and trying these sweet headlights are done. So we're gonna go ahead and install these front marker lights. I'm adding some double-sided tape in here and we're going to still put the screws through it, but from the factory it's just not the best connection so we're gonna make it even better. This is the driver's side take that off, cleaned up all the sockets too.

new bulbs all around this car. There we go. foreign. I've cleaned up the screws as well that No One's Gonna See but I'll know and they're going through the tape into the bumper for the best possible solid mount you could ever imagine.

Click, click. all right. I was going to turn on the headlights to show you, but let me just reassemble this whole front end so we get a really, really good picture. I'm just gonna do the grill the proper way now that I'm sliding this in there I'm realizing how did I not see this? That was dumb.

How many DeLorean guys were yelling at me in the comments, you're putting it on wrong probably like six. Well, there's not that many DeLoreans With the Grille properly installed, we can install this nice valence piece. I Think this is a really cool part of the DeLorean Push this corner in move bracket, get out the way bracket, get out the way. Oh there we go.

Nice and crunchy, just the way we like it. We'll get those things tight with me holding it. It's totally normal on a DeLorean Everything on the bottom is all buttoned up so this front bumper is fully installed outside of the grill and we got something that's going to make life a ton easier. which are these ball studs right here? Before someone just had random screws with like flat heads on them and it was just impossible to get out.

So this should be easy now. Keyword Should: Got the new studs We got the new clips just please. DeLorean Just one thing just just happen. Oh my gosh.

I Just did something like in real time and it was easy. It doesn't even make any sense right now. That was sweet. We're good.

Okay, before we turn these headlights on, we gotta peel this tape off. It's been sitting overnight so everything is nice and dry. We'll say goodbye to Grandma's bed sheet and here here. Oh, this is looking good.

Oh okay, a little a little overspray. We can fix that. No biggie. All right.

everything else has been very, very well protected. Headliners are good. Oh yeah, went a little overboard here, but then again, I should have done this before. I You know did any of this my bad guys.

The front end the front end minus the hood is done looking good. Let's turn on some lights. All right Here we go to the Future and Beyond there's the parking lights. Oh this is so cool.
Uh let's see what the brights look like. Oh we got brights and everything awesome. I Was a little nervous with the modern white because I didn't want it to look. you know, too modern I guess but on a DeLorean it just it fits perfectly.

This looks great man. Holly did such a good job with these. This is such a great option for older cars and it's Plug and Play I Love it! I Love it! This is so good. Our fitment is so so good.

Oh and I did end up just getting some good used bumpers that just needed paint because this is my rear bumper. it's got a crack and on the front bumper it has a chip missing in it which I've saved. So I will eventually get these fixed. but in order to meet my deadline I needed some bumpers that just needed paint.

so anyway we will save these. This trim turned out really really nice. Little nervous about that but it looks brand new and uh yeah, we got to keep going. We need to put a hood on and then also I mean we we can't leave these look at.

look look at how beat up they are guys. After seeing this front end I am completely like reinvigorated and also I don't I kind of wear the same shirt a lot. but I mean this is like many days and weeks If you guys like if I'm wearing the same shirt, it doesn't mean that it's necessarily the same day like this whole front end basically took eight hours just to essentially get the bumper on. just messing around everything.

it's just everything takes so long on this car. Hopefully this doesn't I'm glad we got these little caps too to figure out a way to restore these. Okay, so it looks like there's just one washer nozzle for the passenger side. Maybe it kind of covers the whole glass? I Don't know.

let's see if these will just come off. Sometimes you got to hit them a little bit. There's a special tool actually for this as well, but sometimes you can give them a little a little. Shimmy Shake Oh there we go.

Cool, Okay, cool. yeah. I'm thinking maybe I should just replace the wiper blades I don't know I don't know. Not too bad, right? All right.

So now we just have the arm passenger side still good I'm just kidding. I'm going to replace the wipers. Simmer simmer down now so we don't want to paint all the plastic parts, but this slides right off clip right here. this hose is surprisingly in excellent condition and I think this will come out as well so we don't have to even mask it off or anything.

This is a legit metal nozzle. It's always going to be some kind of injury here. I Just totally stabbed myself with this pick trying to get this guy off and go to work platelets. We do not have time for blood right now.

Go to work. I think I got. This should be out far enough as I'm about to stab myself in the stomach. There we go.

Oh how did this not break? whoo! Definitely not going to be taking that on and off anymore. All right, we're going to scuff this up before our paint job. We're back in the legit three cars paint booth right now with the Sem trim. black and just like the trim around the windshield, this is a satin finish.
It's not gloss or anything like that so we're gonna stick with it. and let's do a few light coats so we don't get any runs well. Our first coat is drying. We have a couple of broken fins here in this cowl.

Can't leave that. please don't be stripped. So far so good. I Love the placement of this sticker.

It doesn't line up with this. It doesn't line up with this. It was just slapped on just another late Friday at the DeLorean Factory in 1981. what do you guys don't have to work today? I Don't know.

Slap did you get that right? Who cares? Okay, a cowl is coming out. Oh this is hilarious. See these little standoffs here. They're just pieces of vacuum tube.

It looks like that they cut probably by hand and then they glued them in. That is awesome. All right. Well, we're sticking with the original cut vacuum tube standoffs.

but I'm gonna grind out all this glue and replace it. Oh, you know, we gotta degrease all this. Clean it up. We're basically cleaning more vents in here too.

although this is pretty clean and we'll wipe away all this. Grime Get inside of here in our vent as well. Clean up our super straight sticker. all right.

Now we're gonna get rid of this RTV that they used there. We go with everything clean. We can add a little bit of our TV just like they did. Since we need this to set, let's locate this with the screw.

This is where it needs to be. We'll take this guy out and we'll just go down. maybe use a little bit less located with the screw right there. Nice.

All right. cool. Go down the line and do that much better way to locate. This is what they pick.

Just like that I Cleaned these up as well and we're just going to seal everything on this cowl because they used a lot of our TV There was some here as well, so I'm not sure if this is supposed to be sealed, but we're not going to take any chances and just a thin bead is all we need. Yeah, we're good. I've done four coats on the wiper arms. they are looking beautiful and check out the little cap.

See the difference. I restored the one on the right by using fire Watch this. This is so crazy. but be careful.

foreign look at that. It's like we painted them so you can do this to restore faded trim. Some people use a heat gun. it takes a long time.

I'm using map gas and just being kind of careful with it. Go really quick. It's definitely one of those things where I don't recommend it. You do it by way, but if you're smart about it, it works.

It works well. Now that's basically permanently restored or at least we'll probably get you know, a few years out of it. I Let the RTV sit overnight and here is our brand new piece. You can see the difference even after cleaning this and this was missing some teeth also.
so this is ready to go. Yeah, we'll just slide this guy right in. I think oh they're going right over. The little vacuum tubes.

don't break off, don't break off. We're almost there. We're almost there. She's on.

All right, cool naturally. I Cleaned up all of the heads of the screw. So I'll get these back in here. We're looking good.

We cleaned up the glass as well. So now the wipers are ready to go back on. And this is a super rare original windshield. The really early cars had the antenna built into the glass and then they went to an exterior normal antenna after that.

I guess but this thing is in mint condition. Kind of kind of freaks me out. Actually, it's too nice. We'll go back together with the nozzle, sprayer and hose.

you made me bleed. did I Still love you? There we go, All right. I've got the wiper blade on I Think roughly where it's supposed to be. Then we have our washer and our nut driver side going on.

So I like to line it up with the wiper blade and then okay, that looks good right there. I Always like to tighten these by hand. you can feel it kind of go down. Stop, you don't have to go too hard.

It's perfect now. our freshly refurbished caps. oh perfect and our nice Factory DeLorean Windshield washer hose clip right where it used to be and we're going to leave this Factory 40 year old hose because it's an awesome shape. We'll get our windshield washer hose plugged into the nozzle, a little sunroof grease there to help us get on.

Oh my gosh. Okay, Final Touch Here is going to be some of the armor. Shield Nine This is an excellent trim restoration product. We don't want to hit anything like that with the blow torch.

There's a lot of stuff on your car you don't want to hit with the blowtorch and we'll protect the rest of it so it'll stay looking like this. And there you have it. Ladies and gentlemen, our cowl wiper area, windshield is all minted out I Think at this point we're we're ready for the hood. hood is going back on.

Look at how mint this thing is. Okay, don't destroy a new bumper. Oh my gosh. Okay, gotta hold it to get some some nuts on.

Okay, okay. we'll get this guy on there. We go all right. put his back I Have to tighten up all of these.

There's four on each side, everything going by hand. First we have to line This Hood up. There is a lot of potential adjustment here. We have the wires for our Hood light, plug those in and then they go down this little hole with a nice little grommet.

just like that. If you guys are around for the disassembly video, you know that we marked this our little scribe marks actually I did one and DeLorean did the other one or someone else did the other one. Okay, look at this pretty much lined up right now. Give these tens a Titan We should be good.
Do we have a hood back on the DeLorean It's all. it's all happening people. It's happening. The car is going back together.

It's been a long time in the making. This thing has just been ripped apart for weeks at this point. Oh, it feels good. okay.

put his back on and adjust it. I'll show you that in a minute. but if you guys have a grill like this, that's kind of hard to reach in there to restore. Mudslinger from Amsoil is awesome! This is a great trim restoration product as well.

I Use this mostly on Fender liners and stuff like that because it repels dirt and mud. That's what it was designed to do. It's meant for like ATVs and four wheelers. So being in the front of the car, the grill.

This is a great product to use since it's going to repel everything that's gonna hit this Grill while we're traveling back in time. Just try this stuff up and we'll just give it a white beautiful look at look. it's so cool it's and look at my sweet Body Lines I Spent about I don't know 20 minutes adjusting the hood and it was the easiest thing to fit. I mean look at, look at how nice these are.

you know for a for a DeLorean but it is totally looking like a real car again. I Am a very very happy boy. Wait you know what? Let's turn the lights off in here. How does it look guys? Oh man bam these body lines are so bad.

but I Love it all right we are ready to move. Move on to the back, back back to the future. I'm just kidding. I Pushed the DeLorean back outside because we need to tackle this engine.

so this is what it looked like when I first bought it. Very dirty. typical Barn Fine style engine I did pressure wash it a little bit in the last video, but there's no way stuff like this is going back on. It's still very grimy and I know I do have to take probably a lot of this apart in the next video when I try to get this engine running on its own fuel system.

but I just can't do like a full cosmetic restoration video without hitting the engine. and I bought some new engine parts that'll make it look pretty so let's get to cleaning. I've covered up some of the electronics. We should be good to go, but you got to be smart when doing this.

Just don't blast super high pressure water right into connectors and you'll be okay. Key is to dry it right after. So I'm just going to start off by wetting everything. no pressure.

It's a light mist and we're gonna get in all the sides as well. There's a ton of dirt just everywhere and then we're just going to be using our general Degreaser and I'm going to get it everywhere. let it soak in a little bit, do its thing, and then we're just going around with our brush. Just like this.

on all these hoses, all these brackets, all these engine parts, just everything. Likely going to be replacing this fuel distributor or at least taking it apart. There's definitely going to be lots of little brackets and things that I'm going to take off and paint while we do all the engine work. but I Just want to give this a good scrub down.
Look at all the dirt on these hoses, you know? I'm gonna go nuts one day and just clean up all these aluminum pipes and everything. We're probably going to end up painting all this and I'm gonna go crazy with it while you're in there. Drilled brush is going to help us out as well. Oh yeah, it's gonna speed stuff up like crazy.

Get in all these little nooks and crannies. Oh look at that clean spot right there. First time it's seen the light of day in years. Since we're not blasting it with water yet, let's get around around this area too.

Oh, and we're using brushes of all size here. Gotta get all in here too. All the fiberglass frame. You gotta clean it all.

And then we are replacing these stickers again. I'm keeping all this old stuff. it's too cool so don't worry I have Replacements this one is. yeah, it's not going to fare so well I Hate doing this.

We have the exact same thing here to replace it. It'll be okay. still hurts, hurts my soul. I Can get the rest of this off with the razor blade and small little pieces.

Oh, it's not too bad. We'll have a good outline to know exactly where this thing goes back. this sticker I don't know if it's available I don't have one so we're gonna remove it and put it right back and clean it up. Oh, last of the original sticker, you're gone.

Oh, and then we did fix this. This is how the hood is held up, but it's still very flimsy. so we got the pry bar going too extra washer time. So this engine's got a pretty decent oil leak left to figure out later, but we got to clean it first.

I've gotten this pretty clean. It's like 100 degrees and sunny so it just dries up like immediately. but I'm gonna go around and just blast around all the connectors, dry it up, and then we'll get this thing back in the shop. The Delorean's back in the shop engine looking much cleaner.

Check this guy out. It's going to be our new coolant reservoir to replace this and it's stainless steel. All right. You know we're going to be replacing this guy anyway.

Yeah, this thing's in rough shape. This is an emissions device that heats up the intake charge from the exhaust. So with that out of the way and get to our bolts Goodbye Old coolant battle. Look at what's inside of this coolant reservoir.

This is going to be a fun one. We get into the Mechanicals of this car, which is the rest of the cooling system. look like we'll worry about that another day. Right now, we're just making everything look pretty to match the rest of the car.

I Can't show you guys the final reveal of the DeLorean without this looking halfway decent. and a new stainless clamp right here. you know? I Had to clean up these bolts, get some new shiny hose clamps going on top, hose back on, and of course our new clamp. I Don't even know why I'm tightening these.
Honestly, this is all just superficial right now. But there you go. look at our new shiny emissions tube going in. Just like that.

Cool. There's a little sneak peek at what I'm going to do once. I Actually take this engine apart. Any little piece like this.

It's getting sprayed aluminum silver for now. let's just dress up this engine compartment, make it look a little bit better, a little closer to the rest of the car. We're gonna go to town with the mud. Slinger Nothing will stick and it won't be that super glossy finish.

It'll just look kind of natural and clean. We'll get our Med Slinger in here too. This is a very underappreciated part of the DeLorean you have a window to basically just look at a cover right here with everything closed up. you really can't see the engine.

Just kind of a weird quirky DeLorean thing on the newer ones. This is a smooth panel so a little bit easier to make look pretty. This is kind of textured for us. It's okay cleaning up the glass as well and let's see if we made a big difference compared to the other side.

Here's the before on the passenger side. it's pretty faded and here's our after on the driver's side looking much better. I've scrubbed all these rubber hoses. they just need a little bit of treatment is all and it's a good chance we're gonna have to replace this guy right here and so it sends all the fuel to the injectors.

This sticker is in mint condition right here. Keep it that way. It just brings the tape back to life getting replaced, but you're gonna look good on your way out after about five minutes with the mud. Slinger Look what we have so far.

this engine compartment is looking very respectable. We definitely got to clean up this too though and it's already clean with the pressure washer and brushes. and Degreaser this needs a little less we'll get everywhere with the little brushes. Stuff smells so good.

It's a cherry flavor, it's phenomenal. We went from something that looked like that all the way to something that looks like this now. it's got a little bit of a purple tint to it and that's not the spray I wonder if that's just sun damage or how this part was from? DeLorean I Don't know. Now we could have totally left the engine alone and just detailed this area.

here. We're doing it both. but I mean this. This is going to be sweet L S C Mudslinger Graffiti: Top of the engine cover is done.

looking pretty except to do the bottom of these louvers as well. It's all cleaned up and degreased outside and this is not greasy at all. It's the whole point of this stuff is to repel mud and dirt. It doesn't attract anything.

This glass looks pretty nasty I think a lot of it's on the inside as well, but gotta start somewhere. This looks like another one of those parts that you're never going to find. the DMC back glass. How do you install this inside? Louvers are done.
Glass is cleaned up. Oh man, this looks good, but these don't. Let's clean up the air boxes, put it together and I'll show you the whole kit and caboodle. I Want to be pretty gentle here because I don't have a new one of these stickers and I'm not entirely sure if they make one.

So I'm going to clean the sticker but not destroy the sticker. These are clean it up nice. They're basically just dusty and dirty for many years of. North Dakota Driving on dirt fields and then sitting for you know, 32 years.

Lower air box all cleaned up, ready to go back in. looks in right here. like so then we'll go back together with our air filter. just get in.

Got a new one and our DMC DeLorean Motor Company airbox this isn't Factory but I got some really nice black Hardware that I think I'll just kind of blend in look pretty. look at that. Here's our painted clip for the wiring harness. She is all right.

We are done under the hood for now. We just have a couple of stickers. There's our Emissions Control and our vacuum diagram right over where it used to go. Okay, there we go.

The negative: Earth Ground sticker I think I can get so you guys will see that on before the end of this video. Hopefully otherwise I'll get the old one back on. but this is what we have for a DeLorean engine so don't crucify me too much on little details keep in mind I do have to take this all apart to get it running but I couldn't I couldn't just leave it be especially after looking at the rest of the car. And I think this is a very, very clean and acceptable engine compartment for an old DeLorean and it's just going to get better.

It's time to install the rear bumper so we have our newly painted bracket. This thing was kind of a rusty mess before and now it is protected, fits in like this, and we'll tighten up the five 10 millimeters that hold this plate to the frame. It's time, it's time. This kind of like completes the puzzle.

Oh, we have wheels too. Lots of little odds and ends, but we're gonna do this. Rear bumpers going on Okay, we have studs on each side. There we go, All right.

I'm gonna have to do a lot of adjusting, but the rear bumper is on. Uh, hopefully it's not as bad as the front seems to be sort of lining up, but man does this look good. I Gotta say this passenger side is great I don't think we need any shims in here or anything. This is really nice.

Yeah, the driver's side's you know it's okay I Kind of wish we could just pull this closer in, but it's sitting a brick wall and that doesn't really get affected by the shims. The shims would just bring this up a little bit and that's not even really an issue. but you know it's just one of those. DeLorean Body Lines As you guys all know, I'm gonna tighten up all the bolts we'll see we get I'm pretty happy with the fitment, but we can make it a little better.
I'm pushing with my fingers right now and we can get a shim in there and make this really nice. And you know from the last video we we got a lot of shims. so with all of the hardware loose I think I can get in here. We have our shim here.

I'm I'm literally using the camera right now to see what I'm doing. Okay, I'm doing a great job at it too. Okay, okay, that's a little guy. may not be enough.

Try one of these too. I Got another shim position for the top so we'll push it out. Oh I got it? Got it cool? Perfect Look at that. let's tighten this down before I lose my shim M Oh yeah, this is good guys.

This is really good. This is going to bring it in a little bit. Okay, I'm a shim master all right. I Know the reward is is quite small here and that the Body Lines still kind of stink because it's a DeLorean but I got this to come out nice and flush on the top and the bottom seems great.

So I'm I'm pretty happy with this. I'm now going to spend a few hours shimming and no one will ever know that I did anything at all because of how bad these lines are. But I'll know I'll know deep down inside that I tried All right. I've adjusted the bumper to my heart's content.

Now it's time for some tail lights and some cool DeLorean stainless steel letters before we put the tail lights in. I'm going to replace the circuit board with all of the sockets. That was a common failure point on these and we did have some bulbs out I Could see these not working. kind of cool though to look at them.

keep it easy. and then I bought a 10 pack of bulbs because they're five each actually. I Bought like about 20 bulbs because I replaced a bunch of other ones on this car, you know? I Got to clean this up I Love you North Dakota Dirt but you gotta go with this cleaned up. We can go back together with our circuit board.

It's kind of just as a little. Shimmy Shake over Shimmy Shake for me shake I Think it's just shimmy. Are we in? Yeah! Before I install the taillights, we have to install the license plate holder. I Got a new one and because of Celebrity Machines.com my buddy Travis Bell We have plenty of options here for DeLorean license plates.

I think most people go with the out of time. uh that is really cool Back to the Future too. That's what they thought license plates were going to look like in 2015. um let me know what you guys would put on the back of the DeLorean but because it's like my new favorite song right now we're gonna go with back and back In Time is ready to go.

but we need to make something better on the DeLorean and that would be where this license plate frame bolts to. This is what DeLorean came up with. but as you can tell on the old bumper, these are not made of stainless like much of the hardware on this car and they kind of expand and they kind of ruin the bumper as well. You can see that we don't have anything on ours and we don't want to have to take out the tail lights every time we need to replace the license plate.
So we're going to the old nut cert. There we go look at that nice and Factory looking and we'll just go down the line. not certain way. there we go Nutsarts are complete.

Something else we're going to improve on are the license plate lights. So these housings are in pretty rough shape so I got new ones and I have to say something. I've been really impressed with. On the DeLorean is the wiring harness.

It is a 40 year old harness. It is in fantastic condition, especially considering how many mice were in this thing. It's like they weren't even attracted to it so that's a good combo. Nasty tasting wiring but good quality wiring.

License plate light housings and new bulbs installed. and I did get some pretty sweet stainless hardware for this with our new plate bracket. It's gonna look so good. Did you guys catch what I did wrong there? I installed these the wrong way.

they were flipped. They're supposed to be like that or like this. I already fixed them. Okay now we can install our brand new plate bracket with our stainless.

Hardware Oh yeah, right into the nut search. they go. now. we don't want to strip out our new hardware so we'll just tighten these up by hand.

bum. Oh man, this is so fresh and so clean it's like we went back in time. Oh and let me know down below, what should my actual custom plates be? These aren't legal or anything just for show. I typically put LSC and then something about the car.

So I have like LSC DSM LSC wagon for my E55 wagon LSC SVT for my lightning LSC DMC would make the most sense but you guys got any other ideas that hasn't been done like a million times you know? and I will plug in our new tail light board while I drop literally all my screws Okay, goodbye screws, There was no point to put you in first. one of them stayed with me. Yay Little trick I Wanted to show you guys that helps kind of clean things up, especially if you're under the hood. If you want a little restoration, there are lots of little nuts and bolts and clips right now.

you can go around and replace everything. sand it down, paint it but I just want to show you a quick tip. some of these things I'm going to replace eventually, but you be the judge after seeing what this can do. So this is a really good example.

So we have pressure washed this part. It's just got a little bit of surface rust and with that Sem trim black, it basically just soaks right in and this is going to protect it. It's not going to rust any further and it's going to look really nice. So yeah, I mean we could take this off for sure.
clean it all up like we've done many times. Replace it if you will. adjust this little detail right here. I think pretty much fixes it.

In most situations. this side's not as bad, but look at that. just soaks right in. It's a very, very thin coating.

I Think that looks great and just in a few seconds, we've made a massive difference here. Look at this. Just a little surface rust on this bolt head and washer and we could pretty much make it go away. And you don't have to use the Sem trim.

black. Pretty much any black spray paint will work I wouldn't go super gloss though. Then when you're glancing over an engine compartment, you would have no idea that I touched that up. it just looks normal.

Look at how much that stands out. I Love how it just soaks right into the threads. It's perfect, all right. So we went from this all the way to this in just a few seconds.

If you're doing a Concourse restoration, replace the part, do whatever you got to do. I'm not even saying I'm gonna do that to every single one on the DeLorean but it's just another trick of the trade that you guys can use at home. and really, any car looks much better. And if you want to do this much much quicker, you can use one of these little brushes here and in literally like four seconds, you're done.

Not really sure why this nutsert is here. I'm gonna make it disappear though, she gone and then I'll go around and just hit the heads of all these. This isn't like a really thick layer or anything like that. You can still go ahead and remove all these bolts, no problem.

Oh This is going to be a good one and don't worry I Have already wiped away all of the mud Slinger from these area areas because you don't want to paint over that. So use some rubbing alcohol or any kind of prep spray and all these little surface rusted bits look pretty again. Look at that restored all right so you guys know I'm going to go around and pretty much hit everything that has a little bit of surface rust on it. I'm gonna go crazy with this.

I'll show you the final result when we do the final reveal later. You guys see how it says DMC in the front from the factory, in the grill, in the stainless steel with the grain I Love that I Love the contrast behind the black, but why didn't they do it there? it says DeLorean but you can't tell unless you're shining a light on it. Luckily the wonderful world of DeLorean Aftermarket has these little guys. You can already see how cool this is going to look.

It just has 3M tape on the back, but we're going to use this primer 94. this is an adhesion promoter and all we got to do is crack it and now it's going to go into this little Wick here. This is a one-time use and what we're going to do here is just wipe this on like that where we want the best adhesion and we're going to let it sit for about five minutes to do its thing and then we can stick the letters on the fact that it's recessed and they wanted it, they wanted it, they just forgot. maybe I don't know.
the luring guys. Is that like an option or something at the dealer? I Like it All right. So now we wait five minutes. let's do that.

Fast forward time. Windy All right. we're back. It's been five minutes.

Let's peel off some 3M tape. Okay, first letter going on. oh that d looks so good I mean how smart is DeLorean the D and the C same thing. same thing they ordered them in bulk.

Such good idea. They're being so efficient I can never get this 3M tape off I Like grew my nails out specifically for this project because I know how much 3M tape was going to be involved in peeling the back and I just can't do it. We're all good at something I'm not good at this. Oh let me get an E.

now. look at that. I mean how do you Not do this DeLorean People come on, you're with me on this right? There's probably a lot of DeLorean opinions on Cosmetics but does every DeLorean guide to do this? Hey, look at that I peeled a piece of tape. This is really starting to get real here people and we got wheels to do.

We got a few more things, but wow. All right you guys know I have to put on some stainless steel DMC letters to the door sill. So let's Crush our primer 94 and we'll prep this area as well. All right there we go.

and let's do this one too. All right now. we're gonna wait that five minutes. After five minutes, we're just gonna peel off the tape and we'll install our first.

D That's pretty much it. Yeah, it's easy. This is cut. really nice to the factory sill I mean I haven't even put any pressure on her.

it's tight. This is great. All right. cool.

keep going. Next we have our M of course we have our M next. Duh man this is good C Going on. Bam that looks good guys.

Hang on. hang on Oh hello I'm DMC door cell yo what up? PMC look at that. Oh this is perfect stainless and all. This is how they should have came yo.

I'm one of you now I Don't know why I just switched accents to a New York Italian But anyway, let's get these on the car all right. We have our sweet DMC on our driver's side door sill snap this in and on the later ones there were no screws I Don't think we really need screws, but we got new ones. I was going to reuse the old screws that I'd been soaking in that rust remover stuff, but then I'm like why don't I just get new ones but I'll still show you what those look like after we get them out of their little container. they've been soaking now for about three weeks I did that at the beginning of this project.

Still plate is screwed on looking pretty but something looks a little weird here. I don't really like these new screws. passenger side looks much better. it's just because I did my little trick.

Just a little dab of paint right on the screw head and you're good. You can also get black screws if you can find them, but after you go to three different stores and and they're not available, you just get the sound call. today. just got done touching up these door sill screws.
Let's see what what could have been. This has been three weeks in the making. All the screws are in the middle stuff. definitely did something.

Let's see, we got they cleaned up. Okay, there's definitely some Rust still on them. Yeah I don't know. I'm good with the new screws that I put in.

All right. I'm running into an issue with my beloved doors here I Thought we were done, but we're not. This is the most. I can close these things and I think it might be right in here.

As you can see here, this metal is pretty mangled here. on the passenger side you can see the same thing this is broken off. the Striker's hitting here. it's a big mess and Mike from DeLorean Midwest told me that on the earlier cars there was too much material right here and later they cut out a V Channel or the doors were built with this being wider and I actually need to cut the stainless steel out.

So I've kind of mapped this out and we got to get to cutting. All right Here we go. All right. I'm gonna do one of these now.

We don't want to go too far. we're just taking the stainless piece off and there's steel behind us. We're going to leave that alone. Okay, there you have it.

piece of my stainless steel body. you know? I'm not getting rid of this. I'm keeping it forever. All right.

I'm gonna do this one now as well. Okay, got this one out of the way too. I'll clean this up I Just want to see if this is going to help with the door first. get off cool that already looks much better.

I finished up the front one as well looking pretty good and we cleaned it up. Put a little PB Blaster in there and Mike actually stopped on by so he's back. That's latched. all right folks.

It is time it is time for Wheels new wheels and tires. Actually the original wheels just freshly powder coated. These lugs are in pretty rough shape so of course I got new ones. I Love the fact that I'm putting new wheels on this car because it's just it's missing something right here.

It's for another video. Just imagine it's got fully functional brakes. Okay, look at that. Thank you guys! here you are guys! The factory wheels painted in the factory dark gray color so we did have to match this up with a few samples bought my guys at Crown customs and Coatings in Wheeling Illinois did a fantastic job! So first they stripped off the original finish and then applied the coating and I went with a factory gloss finish.

I am so happy with this color match. The guys at Crown are amazing! I will definitely drop all their information down below if you need anything powder coated. and then I had to get a paint match from the wheel at a paint store so that I could spray paint these caps. So I did that in our paint booth of course.
and I mean the paint match with the plastic cap and the aluminum wheel is great and then just another side by side of what most Deloreans look like with the silver wheel. I gotta say I I like mine better now I Wasn't planning on this but we did find an air box sticker. Yeah I think this will look much much better. Hopefully this comes off nicely.

Another thing I'm keeping and I'll never do anything with but I'm just keeping it decrease this area. No, we already cleaned all this. we keep coming back under the hood here but it keeps getting better every time we do wait a minute. Was there something here? Look at that.

This is like raised Glorian people. Is there supposed to be a sticker here? All right? I'm just going to use a little bit rubbing alcohol and here we go Icing on the air box cake. Oh hang on, hang on, you know we gotta do there. We go now guys and gals.

We are almost done with the DeLorean the wheels are on but because we've been messing with this car so much even after the re-grain, it has fingerprints Galore this is so bad. so we got to clean the car and then I'm gonna ceramic coat the whole thing and I think that will really help with fingerprints not sticking as much. and I think it'll be like the first fully ceramic coated DeLorean right? I don't know I'm taking that record. claim it in the comments section if you want.

Okay, first thing I'm going to do is just hit it with some glass cleaner. Cars just generally dusty and dirty right now. So I just want to give it a nice wipe down. This isn't going to get all the fingerprints off though.

All right. Next we're going to try out the liquid Bar Keeper's Friend just on a sponge like this and we're gonna go with the grain and this is the soft side. We're already fully regrained so we just need to maintain. That's all.

Oh yeah, this stuff works really well. Wow, look at how clean the stainless is that is so good. and then with just the glass cleaner that's what we have. so not not so good.

Here it is with just the driver side door complete so it looks like glass cleaner. then Bar Keeper's Friend and then glass cleaner again and and you're clean. You can't leave this stuff on. That's why I do the glass cleaner afterwards.

You just spent the last couple hours wiping everything down in preparation for the ceramic coating. Uh I don't I don't know that words words just I'm out of words I'm out of words people. So we have to add on the cool 80s decals right now to complete the look and then ceramic coat it. Yeah, we have one rub strip that was missing so I got a new one and then it lines right up with the marker.

Like so just a little bit of double-sided tape. Okay, so I've already gotten the screws out, but according to the instructions, we need to remove all these marker lights before we do the decal. Yeah! I'm glad we are because I bought new gaskets anyway, so we were going to do this regardless, but that's rough. Yeah, that bulb has seen better days.
It's it's gone. Okay, more stuff to fix. Yay! Here are the new decals. This is a 10 piece kit and uh yeah I am nervous of putting these on.

This is one of those things. I Don't think we're going to be able to mess this up at all and pull it back off and realign it. This is really kind of thin. So many pieces.

Stop it. Okay, so we have D5 which goes here and check this out. This is kind of funny. You're supposed to line this up right here right before the arch so at the bottom of the rub strip and then it says you have to trim off the front.

What? this is only for a DeLorean why didn't they just cut that perfect I Don't get that. Oh, here goes nothing people. I was never good in art class, in school or anything like that. Oh man.

I am nervous. Don't stick. yet. don't stick.

Okay right there. Oh okay I think I'm gonna do it. Oh I hope I did this route I Can't believe there's 10 pieces of this that I have to do I'm going to give this a little bit of a talk in here before we cut it and we shouldn't see any stainless. it should just be black front bumper and black stripe kit.

All right. Do this in a straight line and what's really cool about this is this has got a brush to it so it's black but it's stainless brushed. Okay, one out of ten. let's see see what we did.

Oh that looks so cool that looks so cool I Love it I got this pretty good here. right where the arch starts. we're golden. Let's keep going All right.

Number two going down. same deal. we'll line this right up, lock it in. this one's gonna get kind of tucked into the seal.

sort of okay. how do we do? I don't want to see any stainless here and we're good. We are good wrapped around perfectly tucked underneath the seal I think I got this people I think I got this. This is by far the hardest one.

It's gotta go right here. so we have to make a diagonal cut here and here to trim it all right. So my game plan here is to get it around this door pocket perfectly. Easier said than done and I opened up the door on this one so we can wrap it around really nice.

This is a tough part here. I can't really tuck it underneath. All right, we're just going to do this with the door open and yep I'm just gonna have to go for it. This is the hang up right here.

It's it's perfect right there. I don't know if this rub strip is lower than the other one. Well, I was like having nightmares about doing this and this. This was my nightmare right now.

Pull this out. we might be all right. it's kind of any bubbles. Last piece of the puzzle.

God I'm not artsy I'm not good at this kind of stuff. Okay I Failed Arts and Crafts. It's almost like I need to get rid of this backing right now. Oh no, this is the two-piece part though.
Oh, this is horrible. This is horrible. No, we're not good I need this to butt up right to the rub strip. Okay, all right, all right.

we're doing decent right now. We just cannot lock in any bubbles I think I got that. Oh wait, what are you? What are you doing? Don't you dare mess me up I've gone this far I Gotta eyeball this line here though. that stinks all right before I Lock that in I Think disaster averted I don't know.

Good thing I don't have another side to do. Oh, this is horrible guys. If you're not good at this kind of stuff, just just pay someone for this part. I I am not having fun with this.

Okay, there we go. Okay I think that's good I I think I think I did it I think this looks pretty good I Gotta trim the edges right now I'm not even gonna cut I'm just gonna wrap it around here I'll just clean this inside here. All right. So I've wrapped the edges that looks good? Yeah, we'll do this as well Perfect All right I think overall I did a pretty good job and what's nice is you know, like everything on a DeLorean we're working with pretty low standards I mean this is the cut they do around the handle so we're good.

We're good. All right. Back to some. I Was gonna say easy parts and then this doesn't stick with it.

Nothing's easy. I'll line this one up right there. bring this up to the rub strip no stainless in between and we'll lock it in. Easy short ones: easy.

long door ones very hard. Tuck it in the seal razor and peel. So cool. Get out of town.

look at this. All right. All right guys. let me finish up the rest and I'll show you what it looks like naturally.

of course it's a video. This is my last piece and most of the passenger side. I've done this way I'm just getting rid of all the backing and especially for this. There's an arch and a quarter and it is really difficult to see with the backing on there what you're doing.

So I've had to kind of just eyeball this and make sure we get the lines straight and I kind of just like to see the Finish Line before we lock it in. I Think we're good. There we go. We got the old Tuckeroo and the old slice of rope.

I'm so glad I'm done with this. All right, let's get the marker lights on. We're gonna replace all the bulbs. Of course we're almost there.

We just got a ceramic coat it, tire shine. We're done. We're done. I Almost forgot about the DMC.

They give you no instructions on anything like measurements where to put this. This feels right. I've looked at some pictures on the internet so we're just gonna go for it and then I'll match the other side up. That feels good.

Stay down. There are so many individual pieces to this sticker, it's insane. Okay, okay okay here we go. Imagine if I put these letters on upside down, it's probably been done before.
Stay here. We go here. We go here. we go.

Oh look at that. last one wants to go with it. Don't mess me up. We are almost done.

Car did it. Oh it looks so good. Are you kidding me? So these were dealer options. so there were cars that came brand new from the dealership with these decals on there.

but they didn't do it at the DeLorean Factory I Love it. I Mean this is the Best! I Just got the passenger side on and look at this. They didn't even cut out the sticker all the way. Oh man.

I thought I was done with this I think I got it. That's something. Yeah, there we go. there's my D.

Wait a minute. I'm missing something here. No, all right guys. Well this will just be our little secret that I don't have this one little line here because I it just it didn't come with it.

I Guess I'm looking through all this. it's not there. This was like an error sticker. It had that thing not cut out and it's missing that.

So yeah, no, it is nowhere. it is nowhere to be found. So anyway, if you guys ever see my DeLorean at a show, if you point this out, I'll know you stayed until the end of the video before. I put this marker light on.

I'm going to cut this socket out. These strippers are the best! You guys know the deal. There's that melted solder all right. Wiring repair is done.

We have a new bulb, new gasket and we'll just fit this guy back in. I Gotta say, the new gasket makes it look much much more complete. And I got new screws. Oh this is beautiful I Love it.

Cool all right that's done. After making our adjustments, we got to replace this old nasty guy. I got some new ones so these just guide the door into the striker. Click all right.

Look at that nice little guide there. Our final step to this insane process of DeLorean restoration is the ceramic coating. and I think this is going to be a big benefit on the DeLorean because you have cars with normal smooth, clear coat and they get dirty. but imagine now you have all these little lines this grain those are places where dirt can be trapped.

So I think that filling those in with the ceramic coating is really going to help us keep this thing clean. and we're going to find out if this just straight up melts the car down because I've never heard of anyone doing this before.

The stainless steel DMC in the front grill and door steps look great.
The black decals look good too although the BTTF didn't have those so I don't know if I'd put them… 🤷‍♂️
IMO the "DeLorean" in the rear bumper was perfect as it was. I feel like it gives the rear a "Pimp My Car" modding look… 🤷‍♂️

Turned out really nice. I'm not a fan of those body graphics that run down the sides though. Also, I hope when you do the suspension and engine, you lower the front down to the European spec as they had to raise the front end to sell in the US and to me, it ruins the look of the car. I think that's why they lowered it for Back to the Future. Gives it back the original aggressive look.

Just a truly great video. Thank you so much. But there is one thing that really freaks me out.
Hankook tires on a Delorean? Hankook makes excellent tires but they have no place on a Delorean.
It screams 2023. General, Uniroyal, Goodyear, Firestone, Cooper, but Hankook?
Not putting you down, but to me you messed the whole thing up with tire brand choice ONLY because of the name of the tire, not the quality of the tire. If I saw your Delorean and I was looking the car over the Hankook tires would ruin the whole thing.
    Just my opinion.
    Thanks for the video.

I like the guy! He becomes a little boy like me, with his favorite toy as he tinkers with the Delorian!

The Delorean deserves a better powerplant. I know that's a monumental task…but 130 HP just makese cry inside.
