A couple of years ago i bought this a 2005 e55 amg wagon. This seven seater family hauler had been a dream car of mine forever and when i found one in relatively good condition for only 18 000, i had to have it. I picked the car up out of state and enjoyed it for a long weekend in florida, with some of my youtuber friends before embarking on a minor restoration project that totally transformed the car. I started as always with sorting out all of the mechanical issues and performing all of the necessary maintenance, and then i made a few minor performance upgrades and had some fun testing them out a little better next up, because the car had 146 000 miles worth of Rock chips i removed any body part i could and sent them off for paint after reassembling the car we performed a 40-hour paint correction, wrapped, the car in paint protection, film, ceramic coated, every exterior surface, lowered the suspension and installed some factory 19-inch cls-55 wheels and my Dream wagon was complete a roughly 500 horsepower 7-seater wagon that needed nothing, but for me to drive it and drive it.

I did. I enjoyed every second behind the wheel of this e55 and it's the car i take to most car events i go to and it's a car i don't ever plan on selling, but now it's time to take it to a whole new level. It's time it's time to install a gigantic whipple supercharger, because big superchargers are totally responsible, sensible and necessary on every single car on the road. Alright, let's get this show on the road, the m113k, a wonderful wonderful engine, i think one of the best engines mercedes has ever made and there's nothing wrong with this factory supercharger.

You can make these cars go really fast, but the truth is my e55 got a little jealous, it's a seven seater, just like the escalade and the escalade got a new supercharger. So you know all right guys. We have a ton of work to do in this. Video, but before we get started, i have to show you the hardware that we're working with, because this is some of the coolest stuff i've ever seen.

What you're looking at is a direct bolt-on kit for the m113k engine of a generation, 4 2.9 liter, whipple supercharger. So everything that comes in that box right there is everything you need to bolt this up to your engine and it's almost a shame that some of these parts will be covered up, because i mean the quality here. The workmanship is just next level. It's out of this world, i mean this is a thing of beauty.

I kind of want to just hang one of these up on my wall, so the factory blower is a 1.9 liter, so this is quite a bit larger than that plus. This supercharger is one of whipple's latest designs, so it's super efficient and because of this increased efficiency, you're going to create less heat, so you can run the same level of boost but create more power more safely and just look at this stuff, it looks so cool. Naturally, i'll leave a link down below if you want to check out the kit, but what i love is that you can retain all of your factory accessories pulleys fuel system. It is a direct bolt-on, but i did opt to go for a few upgrades that aren't included in the base kit, like 630 cc fuel injectors, a wideband kit, some pulleys and a secondary heat exchanger all right.
Let's do this, i'm so excited. I haven't really ripped into the wagon just yet, but i am now so let's go ahead and remove our first part, which uh yeah yeah. This is just not indicative of the condition of the wagon, so we will. This is horrible.

We will be replacing this okay. It's gon na go bye-bye all right. It's gone. Okay, so naturally we're gon na start by removing all of the intake stuff and apparently discarding some of the intake stuff.

I didn't even well it broke in half. I didn't even know that was broken. Um. Okay, not exactly sure what happened here, but i guess that's garbage too.

Those are gon na be while you're in their casualties and uh. Hopefully we don't find too many of those. Oh, let's pop this up, all right, we'll take this clip off. That's the easy one and then most people just break off the bottom one.

I've seen so many of these engines with no clip on the bottom. They are a pain, total pain to get to, but don't break your car just spend the extra few minutes get a pic, get something in there, we'll get it there. We go get out of here all right. Look at that both clips intact and uh.

Well, we're not gon na be using this anymore, so if any of you guys need one of these hit me up all right, you know we're gon na go ahead and just remove this front bumper now, because we need to remove it to install the secondary heat Exchanger anyway, uh, yes, i don't have fender covers. I am using black t-shirts and, yes, we have peter back for another supercharger install baby. I know some of you guys had commented a few videos ago that the front tires on this car were really bad. I know i know they were bad, so i got new ones all right.

I believe we have everything off and all right, you ready is that another connector got it. Okay, cool, it's just so light all right. I'm gon na remove the fan too uh. Just because we're gon na be messing around with pulleys.

I may do a new water pump just make life easier there. We go all right goodbye, all right, little shimmy past that hose did we break anything whoa. This is a rare sight. This guy right here this you always see broken in the 211s.

Ours is intact for now, all right. With the bumpers off and our fenders properly protected, we can get to the meat and potatoes of this installation or de-installation right now. We have to take everything apart, so we'll start off with the belts. We got a blower belt here and we'll go ahead and take off the main accessory drive belt as well.

Okay, cool all right, we're gon na start by removing the surge tanks and funny little story here. I accidentally bleached these surge tanks. I was making a video like a year and a half ago on how to clean this engine because it has a lot of aluminum. I thought that'd be an interesting topic yeah and i i messed it up.
I got some stuff that was too strong and it basically bleached the surge tanks and it looks pretty bad. So. Needless to say, i did not put out that video, but i am going to send these surge tanks out to get powder coated black along with the valve, covers and then with the black supercharger. I think this is just going to look so clean.

I really like to break bolts loose by hand. We don't want to risk breaking anything all right, so we're going to do this while we're in here too, and we can go nuts here with the gun and have these off in just a minute - all right surge tank number one wow. I really did do a number on these, but they look so bad. They basically look like that.

On top, so i don't know: okay, there we go all right. So with all the fuel injector connectors disconnected, we can remove the four bolts for the rail. If your rail's never been off, this might be kind of difficult. There we go there, we go all right, so this is a return list system, so you only have one fuel line going in and this is a fuel dampener.

It's not a fuel pressure regulator, and here are the factory injectors 146 000 miles all right, we're almost at the removal of das supercharger. That's exactly how you would pronounce that in german and i'm just going to remove these secondary air injection valves right now. So they're out of the way, so these only have one bolt that hold them in it's just a little shimmy you got to do there. Let's see, how nasty are these guys yeah pretty typical there? We go all right, i'm going to remove this tensioner right here.

For the supercharger and these pulleys right here, i have to do this anyway, and it'll make it easier to get the blower out all right. We have to get this tensioner into its service position to access both of the bolts and we're just going to jam a little drill bit in there to hold it. I just have two t40s, not a bad time to replace this one, probably original. Okay, there we go all right so now we can take the hoses off of the two intercooler lines, so we're gon na lose just a little bit of coolant from these tubes.

There we go all right, it's time to take off one of the final pieces that cut bruss installed, i'm so bad with these names, i'm just going to call them kurt browsenhausen, because that sounds very german to me and i can make german jokes people. I have a real german friend that i'll be visiting. Hopefully this summer his name's stratton he's got a youtube channel as well, and i think we're going to be working on some out in germany. Look out for that.

Come maybe fall ish. Something like that with all the bolts out, let's break das seal, all right! That's pretty easy to do this thing is a monster. This thing weighs so much um god. I can't believe i did this by myself in the early videos.
I'm an old man now and i brought peter and peter, is strong like bull and we'll help get the supercharger off with me ready peter. Yes, sir yeah, okay, now there's a clip under there. You trust your hands with me right now, oh beautiful! Now, if i remember correctly, that's all we need to remove, but it's been a couple of years, so all right, all right ready! Here we go. Oh what else we got.

You got it right now everything i've got all right now. We seriously have everything right, yeah ish, until we find the next thing something. Okay, all right. Here we go and it's a boy wow, it's a big one.

I think i'll name him kurt! Oh he's going on there: oh no we'll name him kurt. What did i say, rouse and house allison house and little baby, curt browsing house and guys come with me all right with the supercharger removed. We definitely have a lot of cleaning to do here and i do think i'm going to remove this water pump and hear a little bit of play in here and i've had bad luck with these guys. So we'll go ahead.

Take that off we're going to take off the thermostat housing as well, because just for maintenance reasons, i think we should put a new thermostat in there and speaking of maintenance. I got to do a little bit of maintenance on my head with keeps because two out of three men before the age of 35 experience some form of male pattern. Baldness, i'm definitely one of those guys, but i'm doing something about it. So keeps is a subscription service that makes treating mail pattern, baldness easy and affordable by keeping everything online, and it's as easy as a few drops on your head.

So it's super easy to get started just go to keeps.com legit from there you're gon na answer. A few simple questions consult with a real doctor from the comfort of your own home, come up with a game plan and then keeps is shipped discreetly to your house automatically. So this is fda, approved medication and the results speak for themselves. Now the earlier you get started with keeps the better.

It typically takes between four and six months to start showing results. So if you guys have been thinking about doing this, now would be a great time because if you click on my link down below you're gon na get 50 off your first order, you have absolutely nothing to lose, but more hair on your head so get started. Today - and i just want to say a big thanks to keeps for keeping the hair where it belongs on my head and for continuing to support automotive content creators like myself now with that, let's uh, let's remove some more stuff from the engine, and then we have To we have to make that that blower grow bigger all right, so we're gon na drain this coolant out there we go and we'll get a coolant flush going on here at the same time, lots of while you're in there's in this project. That is for sure.
I think we're also going to take the valve covers off um and i think it'd look cool to get those powder coated and then new gaskets i haven't done those yet get these bolts off the water pump come on baby get off. Oh man, this guy is on there. This probably is original there we go. Okay, all right get this guy off here: okay, making a mess, making a mess, making a mess wow, they got a lot of coolant coming out of there all right.

Let's get this water pump out of here all right. Now we get a bunch of e10s. Did i get all of them? I'm gon na know right away, don't ever force this guys. You probably forgot one if it doesn't come right away all right see.

There's one here at the bottom, totally forgot, didn't see it yeah, you guys see it. I missed another one, it's like 50 bolts for this guy. Here we go see. It should be that easy.

So if it's not, you still have a bolt in there somewhere there. We go, this is a wonderful water pump and it's probably still totally good, but i'm gon na replace it anyway and usually, you see scrape marks in there, but i like to drive this car. I want to drive it everywhere, especially after the whipple, so i don't need this water pump failing. This is when i did my last e55.

I did all sorts of stuff to that car, pulleys and headers, and an alternator and all everything, everything. And then this went out so we're preemptively striking here and getting rid of this guy, it's going to be the nicest core they get back. Next, let's get our coolant temperature sensor out of here. Okay, all right, i heard it fall at the ground.

Oh, i got it totally normal. I was expecting that to happen and flying to that exact spot. Oh yeah, let's just okay goodbye there we go! That's how you handle that okay, there's our thermostat! This darn sensor come on now, oh man, this guy's seriously stuck. I am using penetrating oil on a plastic sensor.

That's definitely a first for me, but we'll come hit that up later see if it wants to come out - and we can get to this clamp much easier. This way there we go all right. Another perfectly fine part replace this probably original these m113s they last forever. I've never actually seen a thermostat go bad on one of these, so this is kind of sort of pointless, but i don't know i just want to get new seals in here too.

Look at how crusty that is all right. I'm about to go! Do some supercharger stuff! Peter is going to start the cleaning process and it all begins with this really crusty water pump. Gasket! That's nice! Isn't it? Oh it's so satisfying! Look at that! I mean if it wasn't going to go bad soon. It was going to leak.

Look at that gasket! You got a necklace nope here, yeah, it's nice! It's nice! Look at that! It's perfect huh! Let me put a picture of you right now. You know, let's not lose this guy the sensor of death right here, so you do get some instructions here on how to put the whipple together and they give you a base plate seal. So that is just going to slide in, like so make sure to go around all the little bolt holes and you're just going to go around nice and pretty and slide this little seal in now, there's going to come a point here where these two are going To meet and i'll show you what we're going to do there spoiler alert it's this all right, we're almost there all right there we go so this is all down and now we're just going to add a little bit of rtv right where these two meet. There's a little dab there yeah there we go a little bit more for the kids.
Okay, clean up a little bit of the excess here, make this look pretty okay, and just like that, we have conjoined the two ends of our seal and this guy's ready all right. So i've installed the same kind of seal to both sides of our snout adapter and now it's time to add a little bit of the rtv to the supercharger all right. So there were a few pieces of black tape covering this up, so nothing got accidentally dropped inside of the blower. That would be no good and then i've just brake cleaned this surface.

So it's perfectly clean and now we have to just put a little bit of the rtv on this side, even though we do have that seal on the snout adapter. This is just going to ensure a perfect seal. We don't want any air leak issues, so you don't have to put too much of this on there, but just make sure you go around the bolt holes and i'm going to go ahead and just kind of smooth this out. Normally, i don't do that.

If we're relying strictly on the rtv sealant for the seal, i would just leave it as a bead, but we are relying on the rubber seals that they gave us to seal up against this. I'm just going to kind of make it flat, and this is a very, very thin layer by the way, guys. Okay, just like that. Okay and now we're going to go ahead and install the snout adapter.

So this piece was made by victory road performance. All these billet adapter pieces, you're, looking at, were all designed by them, which is really cool that they're still putting this kind of r d into such an old platform. But it just goes to show you that the m113 is just still such a relevant engine, that it's worth it and it's one of the most modified mercedes engines around how much torque is needed here, i'm just going with eight foot pounds: okay, there we go all Right now, it's time to install probably the nicest thing i've ever installed on on anything whether it's car related house related garage. I i don't even want to install this, take a picture now people.

I think this might be my next screensaver in my computer. It's just beautiful same deal as before. We put the rtv on this flat side and then we're gon na go ahead and install it here, and we have 10 really small bolts to install all right. So with these i'm not even going to mess around with the power tools, we're just going to snug these up by hand they're very small, i'm doing this, not only so we don't risk breaking these bolts, but also this is aluminum.
So we don't want to snap off an ear or anything like that, because it's just so good looking all right, so we're gon na go ahead and torque these down to six foot pounds and for this one right here, i highly recommend using a ball head allen. Socket it's really hard to get in here and you can't torque it. The rest of them are easy. All right with this bolted up we're just going to clean.

Normally, i wouldn't really care, but you know i like how this looks there. We go just going to get the excess rtv off. That's all looking good, looking good all right with that. It is time to flip my baby over and we're gon na.

Do some work here on the bottom side and the supercharger does not have any oil in it, yet don't forget to put oil in it. It comes with the kit. It's right here. They warn you.

The supercharged resino oil fill supercharger with oil per instructions, but we're not going to do that just yet there we go okay, so i just have a little bit of brake cleaner on this all right. That was perfectly clean, all right. So next up, we have to install this beauty here so just like before i've applied this seal and we have our tv the little corner where it meets and same as before, we're just to install some here on the bottom of the supercharger. Before we install that mounting plate all right, then we'll install this beauty just like so, and then we just install the hardware - and this is all really nice stainless stuff - very high quality - really expensive too.

If you go to the hardware store, these are like 1.50 each or something crazy like that. I'll start, these all by hand. Of course, i'm going with 10 foot pounds on these larger ones, all right last one there we go plate is torqued next up we're removing the intercooler, because we're going to be swapping this over to the new supercharger stay. Still there we go.

There are a total of six t-45s four right here and then there are two that go in this way and remember the routing of this vacuum tube right here. It goes under the intercooler comes out right here by the second port right between the second and third port here, one time i kind of just ripped this apart and didn't really remember how this goes, and it's just one of those stupid things that just just take A picture we have cell phones - you don't want to waste time later, although we'll see if this even matters with the new one, i'm not really sure so. The factory intercooler is glued on and by glue i mean rtv and it's been on there for quite some time. So it's difficult to get off, especially if you can't really hold it down there we go.

This can be kind of a pain to get off there. We go okay here we go all right so here we have the factory intercooler and look at that looks like there's some bits and pieces of our tv in here. So i don't know. Maybe this has been a part or maybe from the factory.
Our bret browsing still awful whatever his name is put a little bit too much rtv and some fell in there. All right we'll have to clean that out, and here is the inside of the factory blower. This is so satisfying. It's like humans built.

This look at this tolerance. Look at the perfection and these things go for hundreds of thousands of miles very reliable. This is so much fun. Look at all this stuff, i'm getting out of here some serious blockage.

Man, that's like five horsepower, at least not cool brett, brewsten housing, all right. So before we get to applying sealant here and replacing this little donut seal, we have to do a little bit of test fitting because there may be an issue with the intercooler mounting tabs. So they're going to go right there and yeah see how this doesn't fit per the instructions. We may have to shave back a little bit of this intercooler mounting tab to get it to clearance.

We can get like one side at a time to go. It's just barely there see right there. It's so close! You don't want to force it if you were to hit this down, you'd, probably break these aluminum tabs off. So no big deal we're going to go ahead and shave those down all right.

So we're going super old school here with a file and we're just going to be gentle. I forgot. I still have some tools left at my house garage, and one of them is my little whiz wheel. That would make this much easier, but we're gon na go ahead and pretend that it's 1840 right now and we're hand crafting this piece and i'm a blacksmith in the countryside of germany, working with sven and gunta and uh brett hausenberg kind of losing it right.

Now. Not gon na lie didn't get much sleep. I was in florida with some of my youtuber friends and now i'm back you guys notice. I have a little color in the face, definitely not from chicago winter.

That's for sure, let's do some more grinding over yonder. Getting my workout for the day today was uh shoulders and traps and uh it's another muscle group peter. What kind of muscle groups do you know about biceps all right, getting some of the deltoids in right now feeling the burn boost in deltoids. We will pump you up.

Remember that saturday night live 90s. Anyone else. Anyone else know what i'm talking about. Now.

I've looked at my age, demographic people, you're, not that young i'm taking a break max is uh tagging in right now for some shavage grindage by hand, it's looking pretty good there max. Let's just be careful where you blow the dust all right, peter i'm taking a little bit of a break. What do you got going on here? Well, i just said we have a perfect before well, i guess it's before during and then after ooh looking good wow. It's pretty crusty in here.
That's all your stuff saw that if you want, maybe i can put it in a jar and sell it. Yes, people will buy that legit streetcar coming to legit3cars.com soon is legit street dirt. It's going to be 39.95 uh, a jar handling, plus shipping and handling it's like archaeology. Do you ever want to dig up dinosaur bones? This is like the next best thing: horse powered archaeology right, it's not direct injected, so it's clean in there.

We don't need to change that, but if i get it dirty then you can make a video on it right. That's true cleaning valves on a port injected engine. Would you ever want a dirt injected engine all right. It's got to be the last one.

Oh, this is like the tenth time we've test fitted that was so close in the last one. It's got. Ta work put that guy in there ooh, okay, so those are lined up now. The issue is, this is not sitting.

Oh, it's so close. I'm gon na have to do that one more time, one more time, trial and error. Folks, trial and error. I've had this little steamer for 15 years or something and i use it every once in a while.

It works really well for engine parts, yeah we're being organic. It's organic water, grass-fed water. You just got to get all the big chunks out first, so you can't just go nuts with the steamer right away, but once all that's there, you don't have to use a ton of brake clean just good, because we don't have a top brake yeah. We don't have any brake line, this one's uh.

This one's got like that. Much left yeah. We don't need it all right guys this is it guaranteed. You see that that's precisely how much you need to shave.

I don't know how much that is. It was about 10 rounds of shaving if that makes any sense all right. So let's get this guy in here. It's totally gon na work.

Nice look at that. You hear that that was beautiful, and now this is looking like it's gon na go down. I think yeah this is gon na, be good, all right cool now. One thing i did notice here, which kind of is a big bummer as far as getting this thing fully assembled on the engine.

Is this harness? This harness is super brittle and this is for the bypass valve. So if we needed to replace this later, we would have to take the supercharger off and the throttle body. One is not that bad that one lays under the supercharger, so it gets heated up all the time. This one's still really nice.

I might reuse this one or we'll just order up a new one and either way we're gon na be using an adapter harness for this. This little chrysler star right here. This is directly off of a hellcat, so this is a 92 or a 94 millimeter throttle body. It's really big.

This is definitely going to help that big blower breathe and i believe you can go for a bigger one like a hundred millimeter or something like that. But we'll start off with this start small kind of work our way up. Okay, i'm just kidding. I had to shave a little bit more off the hole on this side, wouldn't line up um but yeah anyway, trial and error uh, something else you guys got to replace when you have the intercooler off.
Is this donut right here this one's actually in really nice condition? Usually these are really brittle and falling apart, but either way we're going to replace this regardless, all right guys. I have bolted up our gigantic hellcat throttle body um, so this blower would be totally ready to put on. If i didn't need this harness right here. So that's on order.

It's gon na take a few days to get this in um, but i'm not gon na lie. I can't wait. Uh i wan na go put this on and see what it looks like, and this is much lighter now. Much lighter look at that.

Just kind of go for a little stroll with my baby blower. Let's see, can i do this by myself we'll see peter peter does have one hand peter. Can you can you help while filming this entire process? I believe so. Okay, this is not smart.

We totally own a tripod, it's a really nice one, but wow. This is really easy. Now got that, oh, we got a vacuum line. We got to move out of the way.

Okay, look at this! Oh man! This is beautiful. This is so cool. I cannot wait to get the valve covers. We got to get these valve covers off peter because those have to go out for powder, so we got to do that.

We got to remove these valve, covers we're going to do it and the surge tanks too. So yeah hold on you know what let's go, get those uh surge tank adapters, we'll throw those in we're doing this right. Peter wait a minute! Oh you're, doing it right, mine's upside down. How many guys does it take to put some some spacers on for surge tanks? I don't know there, we go there, we go.

We did it. Yes, okay, anyway, scooch it over just for this test fit anyway for for testing purposes, we're good here wow. This is going to look so cool yeah. It's all going to be black.

It's all going to match we'll have our new water pump all right, we're going to try and get this guy out and we're going to remove our valve cover. So we'll take a look at the valve train after 146 000 miles uh. We should probably just go ahead and remove the blower, but i'm going to stare at it for just a few more minutes because it looks so cool. I have a whipple supercharged, e55 amg wagon, a wagon - that's gon na have like 700-ish horsepower after this, oh man.

This is crazy and don't worry guys. I haven't forgotten about the cl65 that was on the way to the dyno and then the radiator cracked. So video is coming out on that and the ml55 that's back on the channel too. We got a lot of mercedes content coming to you in the very near future.

I don't know about the camaro, though the thing is that thing's rough all right, well we're just going to try and pull this sensor out, probably going to break it, some more, not that that matters, you can do it peter, harnessing all of my power boom yeah. That's not yeah, that's brutal something's moving hold on. Let's get a little pick in there and pick away at the side, because is that the o-ring right there? Oh well, yep that didn't work? Are we drilling this sensor out? I basically gutted the inside of this sensor and i'm gon na try and cave in the walls of the sensor. I hope that it helps kind of release it just trying to get a little lip, so i can pull this out.
This is the worst cooling sensor ever. This is ridiculous. I woke up this morning and i knew i was going to be installing a blower. I didn't think i'd be beating a piece of copper out of my front timing cover.

Oh, yes, get out of your home. It i did it, i did it. I won coolant sensor, you lost, although you did waste like about a half hour of our time, see ya. I don't know why.

I threw that i'm gon na have to go pick it up. It's like my shop. You know so that was dumb, but anyway we got the uh. We have the sensor out and i don't think we destroyed anything all right.

So at this point we are going to remove the ignition coils t30s out of here. Don't want to lose these i've never done spark plugs on this guy either. I'm curious as to what it has in here, because this car was already modified with a larger crank, pulley for more boost and mid-length headers, so i'm hoping that they ran one step colder, but you never know either way i'm going to replace the plugs. I didn't think i was going to be putting a whipple supercharger on this thing when i bought it, but i guess maybe subconsciously.

I did because i didn't replace the spark plugs when i first bought this car. I was like maybe deep down inside. I was like i'm gon na i'm gon na mod, this car, who am i fooling, and i just left them alone, and here we are just about 3000 miles later and we're putting a whipple on with the coils out of the way we can remove. The valve covers all right that should be it.

These things can get kind of stuck on here, though, need a little bit of persuasion. These valve cover gaskets are really easy. Unfortunately, they do leak a lot in the m113 and 113k, but you guys can definitely do these at home super easy to do very inexpensive there. We go not a whole lot to see in here uh it's hard to see the cam shaft, but we can look at the little rollers there on the rockers and very minimal.

Wear 146 000 miles. No sludge. No, nothing and these don't really have timing chain issues either. These were just straight up, good engines, nothing major, went wrong with the actual engine itself and you could not say that for the other performance euro engines of the time audi bmw, this was just rock salad.

Just just nothing made ridiculous power didn't really break. What more can you want and with the driver's side valve cover off? We have more of the same just a really clean engine, and here you can see the old-school mid-length headers. So back in the day, this was all we had mid lengths and they made a big difference over the factory exhaust manifolds, but there's no comparison to the long tubes. I think that is my favorite modification for the m113k.
It frees up a ton of power. Your engine will run cooler at a lower boost level because it's running more efficiently, so we will be doing those at another time. There's really not too much. That's overlapping as far as labor here.

So most of that is done from the bottom and i have a complete long, tube header installation, video i'll link down below that. I did on my 03 e55 and i missed that car dearly. Let's just screw this in so it doesn't go somewhere. We don't want it to go all right, that's good! So at this point we just have a little bit more cleaning to do for the valve cover mating surface, we'll probably do a little bit more cleaning in here, even though you don't see any of that, and we have all of our parts that are ready to Go out for powder, actually i have to separate these first, so we can reseal them because we don't want to have to take this apart after they get coated.

But i'm going to do the same kind of i think satin black or whatever. This is so everything matches really nicely and we are going to run the factory air boxes as well. So it's just going to be a very tidy engine bay, very clean, oh and then this in the next video we can install. This is a secondary heat.

Exchanger! That's going to sit over here. I had this on my 03 e55. So we're going to increase the capacity of the system, so it'll cool better, but it also just looks really cool all right guys. We got a ton done in this video, but we have a lot more work to do to get the whipple wagon on the road.

So hopefully, in the next video we'll have, i don't know we might, we might have it running in the next video we'll have that stuff back from powder we can put the supercharger on we'll have all the other parts. I have a ton of parts to order. I got ta make a list um but yeah, maybe in the next e55 wagon video we'll have this thing running and then we got ta get a baseline tune. We got ta go to the dyno.

We got a lot of cool stuff to do with this car. I'm super excited spring is around the corner, and this is kind of my main ride. When i go out, you know to cars and coffees and meet up with uh, with all of you guys, which, by the way, i will be having a subscriber meet in the spring in the chicagoland area. The M5 39 YouTuber is NOT German. I think he is from Serbia.

Send him the aluminium parts, so he can clean them in his sandblaster

Just tuned in. I hope we get a performance comparison. Like actual numbers. 1/4 mile or 0-60 etc. Otherwise, what's the point? I'm curious for the upgrade cost how much better it actually is (or isn't), or is it a lot of money spent for very minimal results. Seat of the pants dyno doesn't count.

I like to use dielectric grease or silicone lube on any electrical connectors. It makes them easier to service and
Keeps moisture out of the connector between services or sensor replacement whatever you have going on. Also, I find that because you have lubed your connections- things break less often especially with mid 90s to early 2010s German/euro cars and their wiring

Dude! Literally just paid $250 for an e55 airbox to slap on my N/A m113 sl500. Could have totally used your airbox, perhaps another m113 guy can use it. Supposedly good for a few more HP….

I would love to do that….but right now I've paid 2.40 dollars for a LITRE of 98 octane…so it's going to take a while before I install a bigger supercharger 😭😭😭😭😭
