Hi. Are you the Florida guy who found a red Vette with crazy low miles that was listed as a flood car? . In your video you… or the guy…said you/he would part it out because he/you didn't have the title. ARE YOU CRAZY?????? In Nevada you would be correct. Arizona ditto. In most states ditto. But in California all you have to do is go to DMV. Tell the truth …fill out the "Statement Of Facts" form and the request for new title form … and California will give you a new title. A fresh title. Just tell the truth. iE: "a person wanted to see if I could help them get their car running. Hi….. I never saw them again. That was 2 years ago"… do NOT tell the whole flood story…. or where you actually got it. …then guess what? A new fresh title not a salvage title. California???? Yes California. Dude I've flipped over 300 cars since I was 15 years old. I've doe this Statement of Fscts thing st least a dozen times. California?? Yes California. I live in ACs & AZ and Nevada. Only California does this. Guess why… CA got sick of having unregistered older cars on the road. This solved the problem. Will not work on newer cars. For obvious reasons.

Amsoil started selling their products around 1972 or so. Steen's C oil was on the market 12 or 14 years years before that. All the 2 stroke Go Kart racers (including me) ran Steen's C in the late 50's early 60's. John Steen created the company in the late 50’s by selling used speed equipment and the synthetic oil formulated by his father in the 40’s while working for Standard Oil as a chemist. Prior to this in the early 50’s, John Steen was an off road motorcycle rider. John rode with legendary riders Ed Kretz Jr., Cliff Coleman, Dave and Bud Ekin and Steve McQueen and others. These are some of the guys who created the Motocross sport on the west cost. Around this time, John’s Dad passed away leaving him his formula for synthetic oil. (One side note: You would think that with John’s Dad working for Standard Oil, they would own the formula for synthetic oil. Well they did, but they told him that they were in the oil business not the synthetic oil business and he could have the formula. So John’s Father took it.) John talked to Union Carbide and worked out a deal to start making small amounts of this synthetic oil and asked people he knew to try it.
It was wonderful stuff and unlike all the other oils of the time, it burned very clean.
Small airplanes have been doing lean burn forever. In fact, you are SUPPOSED to set the air fuel ratio as you fly, both for power and for efficiency. When you do, you immediately see the temperatures of EVERY cylinder. This is helpful to see every cylinder's temp because if one of them reads wonky, then you can anticipate that there might be an engine issue forming, so you know to deal with it in advance. Unlike a car, having an engine problem up in the air is way more serious than on the ground!

The question now is this…Can you tune a Tahoe/GMC Yukon with the 5.3 V8 to run a lean tune like this and get amazing fuel economy similar to what you have done to this Corvette?

The vapor carb was the OG of lean-burn. The Geet engine intake mod is too. We use "fuel injection" because it is not as efficient as "vapor intakes". Cars do not burn liquid. The petroleum industry bought up all the vapor carb patents. Most greenies are braindead, unscientific zombies, who think baby farts are bad for the environment, and the most important thing for life on earth is poison. Our public education (indoctrination) system has been manipulated and controlled by the elite for 100's of years.

I would change out those knock sensors while you are in there. Number 2 knock sensor is notorious for getting fouled up so you may as well change them both. Just a thought.
