We are nobody's in here yet here we what's up guys, so i'm just ordering parts right now. Let's see what i got whoever's here: e55 stuff control arm kit and one of these joints is loose. Inner tie rods are frozen, we couldn't align it and then we're doing headers, which i'm going to show you guys. So we got the manifold gaskets and nuts and all that kind of stuff.

The headers come with some graphite ones that are kind of cheap and then the oil filter. I mean filler cap gasket. I just ordered three of them because uh those always go. Let's always go out.

Let me show you go and here's uh sriracha sauce best stuff in the world. I basically don't eat at the shop anymore, so i'm bringing this home. So i don't have to stare at that on the fridge anymore max. So, what's going on guys uh, we are gon na.

Do a quick little update because there's a ton going on in the shop as always - and i'm always just bouncing around computer working on stuff, different cars figuring stuff out um. So right now uh i'm looking at this intake system for the e55. So i was going to use the factory air boxes, but they are they're pretty small. So i'm going with like a bigger kit from vrp, so this y is going to go right on the throttle body and then we have some nice three inch tubing that's going to attach and we have these gigantic filter cone housing things.

So you can see in there we have the filters high flow and uh, and then i just have to go buy some of these silicone couplers, because i want it to attach like factory um, to the little air ducts that are in here. So we'll have ram air whipple ram air um, so i'm just figuring all of that out and then i think i'm gon na get all this stuff powder coated black, the satin uh wrinkle black or whatever they did um on the supercharger and the surge tanks and The valve cover so hopefully we'll have an intake system for the e55 in the next video um and in that video we're gon na do headers as well, so these just came in and just checking everything out. So let's do that together with my trusty utility knife. So these are the long tubes from victory road performance, and i ran these on my 2003 e55 and they were great now that was a couple of years ago.

So since then, they've come out with some lower engine mounts they drop your engine down like 10 millimeters or something and that'll make these headers line up a lot better. That was the one issue i had is at fluid the exhaust shop that i go to well. The fabrication dino shop i go to they had to um kind of make a bend on the pipe that connected to this because they just needed to be dropped down a little bit. So that's going to be fixed.

Those mounts aren't here yet, but these things are beautiful and they're gon na flow like crazy. This is my number one modification for the m113k is getting these headers and uh actually they're running a sale for, like, i think, vrp's moving they're running a sale. Can we put links and stuff max we can put? I don't know, i don't know. If i can put a link in a live, i will um or i'll make a post or something but yeah he's having a really like awesome, blowout sale on these headers and they work really really well.
So there's that and then we have the complete mid section as well. I wanted to show you guys yes, so we have many different opportunities to put o2 sensors in so the o2 sensors. The before cat o2s will go in the headers um and then we can run a wideband into one of these. So that'll save me a little bit of time and money to not have to have an extra wide band bone welded in so looking pretty.

I got all these, it's like a complete kit. The only thing is, it comes with these graphite gaskets, which i don't know honestly if they work well or not, but i don't want to risk it. I don't want to have to do the headers twice, so i ordered the stuff from mercedes. Well, the mercedes brand stuff from uh.

What do you call it fcp euro? So we won't have any of those issues, so that is what's going on with the e55. Oh and then we have something that shrunk, so we got the pr if you guys were around for the first or the second whipple video. We had an issue with this pulley being way too wide. So i got the new updated version of that.

So we're going to be going back together with the belt tensioner kit, here's the wide band kit, here's the electric supercharger, because i use the wagon as storage, sometimes so yeah we'll be doing the headers. The intake and the belt wrap kit in the next e55 video and i'm hoping i can connect the entire exhaust and everything, and then the headers are such a big deal on these cars that we will need a retune after that, even though this has mid lengths. That's the there's a huge difference, so if you guys can only do one mod on m113k long, tube headers is definitely your mod um. What else i'm working on 335i uh? It's actually why i got my gloves on not to protect my hands from getting dirty but to protect this headliner from my hands, which are just always dirty really, even if i scrub them um, so we dropped the headliner down and now i have to drop the Entire subframe, or not the subframe, the frame for the sunroof um, and that's only because of these dents right here.

I bought it like this. I don't know if you guys can see that, but i had dennis does dents my dent guy over here and he's like yeah he's like to get a perfect. We got to drop everything, i'm like. Let's get it perfect because we painted half the car, you guys are going to see a crazy transformation video on the 335i, it's one of my from start to finish video.

So it's getting new wheels and tires. The crazy mirrors are finally gon na get fixed. We painted like half the car, it's beautiful um, we're fixing the dents we're gon na mint out the interior. We're gon na fix a light on the dash and a few other things.

This thing is going to be like a brand new 335i and then i'm selling it so it'll, be probably in the beginning of june that when that video finally comes out, because i want to do everything and bring it all in one video to you guys, um. But then i'll be announcing in that video, i'm announcing you right now that this thing will be listed on mods and miles.com, so check it out. You can actually sign up on mods and miles.com right now and it's a new auction site for modified cars for under appreciated enthusiast cars. It's a great site so similar.
You know to bring a trailer and whatnot, but they don't decline every other car because it's got a modification because we all know some modifications. Most modifications make the car better and it's it's just never looked at that way, which is ridiculous. That's why i'm really big into this site now um, because it's finally a professional auction platform for modified cars for some cars with some miles, do you have a branded title car, but it's nice. It should be appreciated instead of facebook marketplace.

What's your bottom dollar and just dealing with garbage like that, so yeah odsonmiles.com check it out um what else we got going on max uh. Somebody asked if you regret, leaving your job. No, definitely not, even if this all crumbles and fails. This is something i've always wanted to.

Do. I love it. I can't believe it's my job and if i eventually have to go back to a normal mechanic job which i would get in like a heartbeat because they always need mechanics, i would at least be able to smile and say i tried and it was fun. So yeah, oh you got someone that said they have a 2005 sl600 rentec nice excellent condition.

Would you be interested it just if it has something weird wrong with it or some kind of story? But if it's just a turnkey, sl 600 - probably not because you're going to want good money for it and it just doesn't do anything for me like i need content out of it really uh. Let's see someone said how much you want for the wagon: i'm not selling the wagon 100 100 grand yes i'll, take 100 grand, but no, i think the wagon man they're up there. I think they would pull in close to 40 ish, my old one that had 232 000 miles on it. It ended up trading hands a couple times after me and the last time it sold was for 23 000, so yeah somebody goes pepperoni or no pepperoni under pizza i'll put pepperoni on there.

I prefer you know sausage on the pizza. You know maybe a little bit of onion butter crust, you like a nice sod pizza, yeah, um yeah, but now i like pepperoni. I got no problem with that. Let's see uh when is the next ford video long overdue.

I just came out with one. I come out with like one video, maybe two videos a week, but before the headliner and pretty much. The main reason i have these gloves on um was because i was getting nasty with this thing. So here sneak peek heads are off.

That's all in the next video i literally just got done filming it today. Max is still editing that video um, so tomorrow is friday, so i'll come in tomorrow. Max we'll still be editing that video we'll do title and thumbnails that's kind of usually how it goes and then max on fridays or well sometimes thursdays - and you know when we're ahead of the game. You know we're i'm reviewing the video watching it making corrections whatever polishing it up, and then it comes out saturday.
So a lot of this stuff is in real time, except for super long videos like this 335i um. I've been filming it for the last month and it'll be another month of filming, so yeah the lightning will be up to date as fast as i can work. Uh somebody goes fellow wyotech alumni. Did you enjoy the class and your time in laramie? Yes, so i went out, i was there 20 years ago, and that was when my that was the only wyotech and i put myself out there specifically because i didn't do too well in high school and i'm like if i hang out with the same people around Here in chicago and go to tech school around here, um, i'm not gon na do well.

So i stuck myself out in the middle of nowhere made a bunch of friends with some country. Folk did really well loved. It learned a lot. I highly recommend it if it's the same as it was 20 years ago.

I don't know what it's like now. Let's see, you got a lot of love from a ton of different countries like there's too many for me to keep up with all right. Go world yeah, um, pineapple on pizza. You know what i i know.

This is like a cardinal sin here of the pizza world. I have had ham and pineapple on a pizza before and i enjoyed it. It wasn't in chicago. I think you'd get stoned to death for that here, but you know outside of chicago i've.

Had it and it wasn't bad. I liked it and we got like two minutes left max has to get going um. So i just wanted to. I want to go live at least once or twice a week with you guys plans to come to florida again soon.

Florida, yes, um i'll, probably be out there to visit sam crack, but i am looking for multiple different vehicles right now and i look in florida. Often because i like going there just like everybody else, would you ever consider volkswagen yeah? I guess i mean i don't know. I haven't really thought about it, but yeah sure it's a cool model with a weird problem. Let's see, when are you going to work with larry from ammo nyc? I don't know, i don't know i've never spoken with larry um.

I we have so. We have some mutual friends, though so i'll reach out and see what happens i'll. Do a scratch repair off his scratch? Repair, reverse my scratch repair coming for you larry, and so what kind of van do you want? Oh, i want a chevy or a gmc, 15 passenger uh van, so it's but it's got to be the ls the years that had the ls. Obviously um.

I'd like a 4l80 transmission, so basically mid 2000's. 6 liter. It's got to be the 15, not the 12., and it doesn't. I can't have rust on it, i'm not dealing with that, because there's a i want to modify this one and do a lot to it and i'm not dealing with rust and then last.
One is 2013 e350 4matic, new, rotors and pads in the front when backing up and applied the brake, a clunk sometimes is heard in the front that never happens in reverse. What are your thoughts? Never happens. It's only going forward a clunk in the front after the breaks it's hard to diagnose this stuff guys without seeing it, but i would if you just, did the brakes and now you're getting this noise. I would.

I would look at the heat shield dust shield there by the brakes a lot of times, complaints after a brake job are because someone bent that shield. You know that yeah. I have to hear it, though max i know you got ta run all right man, your thoughts on the ford flex, the fourth flex, uh, wasn't that what was off-roading? And yes, i'm a big fan of the ford flex, because when we went off-roading in drummond island in michigan with my ml55, this ford flex was just keeping up with most of everything. We could do so good job ford on the flex, not on not on this and wait for this lightning video guys.

We found some awesome carnage. We found something that was surprised me a lot and that i got lucky with so. This video is awesome. I'm super excited to keep going with the lightning engine so anyway uh.

Thank you guys so much for coming to the live next time. I'll do it for a lot longer, but max has to leave and uh. I got ta get back to work but uh. I will see you guys all in this saturday's video on youtube monday on facebook or uh yeah.

The reels in between so anyway have a great weekend i'll talk to you guys soon.

I like the things like changing transmission controllers to get the right shift. I found that interesting. Instead of either doing it through pc on a chassis dyno or maybe not having that option. Locate the controller have 5 at your disposal and seat of pants real world style. Chassis dynos are great but not all of us can head to the tuner shop every time something is changed. Those motor mounts sound clever also. Should lower CG and make for just a taste of better handling characteristics. Even if your butt can’t tell. lol

have you considered trying to do a manual swap to any of your mercedes? i know it might not be as efficient as the auto but it would be interesting.
