This video reminds me of a car I have here. 2015 Skoda Superb Wagon (Like a VW Passat 1.8t). 1 Owner car and what i believe happened is the owner had the low oil light come on, either her or her husband filled it oil, all the oil! Then I met the owner by chance and she mentioned her car had broken down and was shopping for a brand new one, so i helped her get the car she wanted at the right price. I had no interest in a non running Skoda but she suggested I could have it very cheap, $1000 with 170k kms. Ok then. It was in a mechanics carpark, I rang the mechanics they said the engine had jumped timing and needed a second hand replacement at $7500. I had the car towed back to my place.
Long story short we removed the fouled spark plugs, drained the oil back to factory max level and fitted new plugs. Drives like new. Very strange! I will say for everyone of these there are 10 that are worse than they seemed in the first place or someone had been covering up serious and expensive issues. Well done Alex that Alpina is so freaking awesome.!!

I love this car. But your right, donโt buy it unless you yourself are a mechanic or u got the hook up. Or you better make at least $75k a year to be able maintain a car like this.

These cars were actually build to crunch miles on German (European) Autobahn. 50k+ km per year are no issue for it. BUT 99,9% are company cars, so if they fail itโs either warranty or the invoice goes on company expenses while the CEO drives a curtesy 750i. Who ever buys them after 5 years out of any warranty and 100k km plus on the clock need to know that itโs not a Toyota Camry. And itโs the same with all the manufactures in this segment (Lexus does not really address it with its Hybrids).
