Today We Discuss How Much we all pay to drive our cars legally. This will include, License Plate Stickers, City Stickers, Registration costs, title transfer, Taxes, Fees, and all that other good stuff you have to pay in your state or city. I think I live in the least enthusiast-friendly city in the U.S. but I could be wrong. List how much you pay for all this stuff.
Even more expensive now
What is the purpose of stickers
I pay about $30 for my tag every year. No emissions testing.
In My country we have vat (sales tax) , and emission tax. It used to be VAT plus taxes based on hp/engine size and the weight of the car. Heavy Sports car with lots of horespower= expensive. light sports car = cheaper car. Small engine with turbo is cheaper to tax then bigger engine without turbo, at the same horsepower.
Now, in the last ten years taxes on cars have changed. They are now based on VAT+taxes on emissions. = electric car, have almost no taxes, fossile fuel cars became more expensive. Hybrids have taxes based on the fossile fuel engine emission, because the extra electric motor dont have any emissions.
Because of the taxes on fossile fuel cars, most new cars sold are now electric. around 80% of new cars are now electric.
Can you make a video about gift transferred vehicles in illinois? Much appreciated.
Chicago ,Illinois begs for $ way too fukn much. Speed traps on Main roads. Looking for a place in Indiana.
Welcome to Chicago we pay so much fuck . enough is enough .
I know it's three years later, but in Mississippi, plates are expensive my tag for a 2019 Mustang, not even a GT is five hundred a year. I also have a 2021 Explorer it's about eight hundred. On the other hand, an antique plate is a one time fee of twenty-five and there's no restrictions on use.
Columbia South Carolina. Sales tax is capped at $500. Property tax is based on what the state thinks your car is worth. Example, my cars property tax is around $700 this year. Plates themselves I think are an extra $25 (added onto your sales tax bill once every 2 years)
I just got my 2021 registered here in Mississippi, and it cost me $686. It’s totally ridiculous!
In italy we pay a tax every year between 4.50€ and 2€ per kw depending on the emissions
California $157 for a VW Jetta 2011. I think it was $85 last time. Something is not right.
In my country we don’t have to pay for a tag cuz the tag lasts all of the cars life
Shitcago is horrible BUT nothing compares to toilet bowl NYC. Both democrat/liberal run shit-holes. Just paid my registration, same standard plates nothing special.
$132 for 2 years and $35 for inspection sticker every year. BUT have you heard about the toll prices for bridges and tunnels? LOL, it costs an arm and a leg and they are in a sad shape.
Now you don’t have to go to the dmv every year to get your car registered….It’s now 2 years….Good job cook county
2019 tlx la, ca 425 dollars 🙁
